Well, he will probably be more progressive in the CM area and will suit some.good old robotic football.
While having 3.49 progressive pass per 90 comparing that to Winks 6.15 per 90, stats you love That one dimensional midfielder is better passer, someone who creates more shots than Sissoko, is better defensive, better presser and someone with higher success rate for aerial duels and dribblingThe one dimensional CM Sissoko has 8 goals/assists over the past 2 seasons compared to Winks 1. While only having .3 less tackles/interceptions per game.
Winks is our one dimensional midfielder.
Apologies if this has already been posted. This was his game vs us earlier this season. I think the reason that a lot of us noticed him is that while he does make some mistakes he always gets involved. You can tell he has the sort of attitude mou likes.

Lamela is important for other reasons. Let me explain
For the past 10 seasons I have had a season ticket next to John. John always brings one of his children, usually James, his son but 4 or 5 games a season he brings his daughter Emma who is now 17. In all this time Emma has never ever seen Spurs lose. Now this is where Lamela comes in. Emma Really fancies Lamela. Sell Lamela and she might stop coming to the games. And that could really cost us wins.

when Southampton fans say he's wasteful with the ball or football hipsters state "only 75% pass success) what they fail to understand is that he takes more riskier passes and will try to set others away on counter attacks which means there is more chance of ball giveaway. Also noticeable that when he wins the ball he nearly always looks for a progressive pass forwards rather than playing sideways to the FBs. Him and Lo Celso in tandem would be a great pivot allowing us to play a more creative player as a 10.
So when

I'd take that over Sissoko who can't pass accurately forward or Winks who has become a little too safe with his passes. Need someone to play those balls first time in the transition.
