are u guys blind or what? obvious encroachment and the penalty wasnt retaken. wtf.
There was enroachment, but very tight. Having freeze framed it, it's about a leg. Would be harsh to have that retaken.

Though personally, I'm never that bothered by a little encroachment, or even the goalkeeper a little out of their line. Penalties are already overly stacked in the favour of the striker and there really is never an excuse to miss one.

Wolves have run completely on empty after the bright start, Sevilla take a deserved lead.

You have to say that goal has been coming. Sevilla have looked far more likely for most of the second half.

Also Ocampos has really impressed me tonight. Over 15 goals as well. Impressive season.

To be brutally honest I think Sevilla have more of a chance of beating Man U in the semi.

I’ve raved about Diego Carlos, phenomenal defender, so naturally he looked shaky early on and gave away the pen. His partner Jules kounde is also someone I’m a big fan of, and he was immense. What a performance. What a player. Sevilla haven’t lost a match since the restart, in la liga and Europe, and they showed once again why. So well organized, wonderful technicians in banega and Suso. Ocampos a breakout performer this season. He is what coco would be if he had end product. Another great signing from ligue 1 by Sevilla along with Carlos and kounde. Lopetegui thriving without immense pressure on him. Great side, deserved winners, and hopefully they win the competition.

For sure. They are unbeaten since 16th February as well, so they really are on form and look formidable. Inter look very good too, and you can never write of shakhtar. Exciting last 4, really hard to predict, I don't think there is much difference between Sevilla, Man Utd and Inter.

We wanted Wolves to get knocked out anyways right? Them winning EL would have cost us our spot iirc.

It wouldn't have.
All the sports through domestic competition are sorted. If they won the Europa it's an extra space in the cl for them

Made no difference to us whatsoever. If Wolves had won the EL they'd go straight into the CL next season.
Yes I know, but since there is a limit as to how many teams a country can have in european competitions and Arsenal won the cup Wolves would have taken the last european spot from us if I understood the rules.
The limit on the number of spots is from domestic competition. If they won the EL that's an extra spot. UEFA confirmed we'd have 8 teams in Europe next season if Wolves won the EL.

We were linked with Diego Carlos couple of weeks ago, sadly not by any good source. I also remember us being linked to Ocampos when he was at Monaco, had a great game against us once IIRC.

Doesn’t matter whether wolves could’ve knocked us out of Europe imo. Same with Leicester, it’s great they aren’t in the UCL next season to build on this season. Don’t want them challenging near the top much like I feared if Leicester made the UCL. Unlike Leicester though, I actually like nuno and wolves, they have some top players. Gutting for Jimenez especially I imagine, he’s so reliable from the spot usually, and even though it was saved, it should’ve been retaken. Nonetheless, glad Sevilla won. Now go beat United and shut them up.

Sevilla are so good in this competition. Deserved the win, battered Wolves in the 2nd half.

Sevilla seem to have a thing for the old UEFA Cup trophy. One year they decided to give the other teams a chance and played Fazio in defence and they still won the whole bloody thing.
