What I felt about the final was that without Willian there was very little guile and he was sitting on the bench .
I think that Lampard has cut off his nose to spite his face and he left Willian out of the side because he has obviously declined to resign for them . So as a manager do you pick Willian and the team is stronger or you drop him to prove a point . If he dropped Willian to prove some kind of point then he will never be a really successful manager because the best managers always pick the side with the best chance of winning rather than leave someone out to prove a point whether that point is petty or important .
I don’t think it was just due to Willian not signing, it’s also to do with the fact he has been heavily linked with the gooners, which was kinda awkward.
