Well I am gobsmacked at everybody’s negative reactions to us signing Bale.
I am remaining totally positive about it.
Yep,that’s the only way to be,absolutely positive it is not going to happen.

Many years ago. What is Madrid payna large proportion of his wages?
What if Bale accepts a much lower wage? Lot of ifs and buts but nobody can say this deal is not affordable, not yet anyway.
we can say that it is incredibly unlikely to happen though and it's not too hard to speculate that it might be because he isn't affordable. That or we aren't actually that keen, something that, while unpopular, is more understandable then some might think.

But they are. ITK are saying this isn’t happening. That’s about it, really. This link resurfaces every window and it never comes to pass. And it won’t, because it never does, and we’ve had this confirmed by reputable ITK. Bale was ruthless enough to force through his big move, I don’t think he’ll walk away from millions and millions of pounds now because fans of the team he once played for desperately want him back

The relevant question is whether some other team would pay him more than we would on loan. We may be willing to pay 100,000 per week? If we offer that to Madrid and they don't receive a better offer, they may take it. The alternative is let him sit on the bench not playing for another year and lose the 5.2 million we would have paid in his wages.

The knowledge we have about his salary and he has shown no willingness to take a pay cut to get 1st team football is enough to show he is extremely expensive.

Hate to say it but it’s basically common sense.

I wish the Mods would lock this pointless thread. Unless we get some actual ITK that something is afoot.
No one is forcing you to read the thread. Stop being a bitch and bumping the thread with your negative comments and spins and find something more suitable to you elsewhere.

Maybe if people stopped commenting how pointless this thread was it wouldn’t stay so high on the message board and would actually seem...... pointless.
FWIW I think Bale leaves on a 2-year loan on deadline day on subsidised wages. Doubt we will pay enough to be involved.

You do know there’s been actual ITK from Dragon1 on Bale. Albeit Trix has been VERY clear as to his information on the Bale situation. You’re not obligated to come into the thread, let alone read it or comment further, just because you don’t like the conversation. ?

Honestly wish people would stop saying this ffs.

If people want to get involved in this let them but stop telling people not to. If you don't wanna let them dream just ignore it man. Not your problem. This isn't just aimed at you it's aimed at all of the people constantly doing it.

It causes no one any harm (y)

Edit: no I know it won't happen but am quite happy reading what others are writing
