The final will be "The best team v the best player" according to BBC Sport - meaning Bayern v Neymar.

Is it just me or is this extremely disrespectful to everyone bar Neymar? Aside from disregarding Neymar's teammates (Di Maria was man of the match in the semi-final, not Neymar), I'd argue that Bayern has the best individual player - Lewandowski.

Lewandowski has scored as many goals in the CL this season as Neymar has scored in Ligue 1 and 2.5 times as many goals as him in total.
Neymar scored 2 in 4 CL KO games (twice in the last 16 and none in the quarter-final or semi-final). Lewandowski scored 5 in 4 games (scored in every KO match!).
I wonder who's more likely to decide the tie in the final third...

That may be (although it's not really true is it), but those three attacking players have proven over their careers that they're very capable of exploiting space and defesive weaknesses. They couldn't do that against Bayern, so that suggests to me that there wasn't enough for them to exploit.

Will never forgive Bayern for fucking up in THAT shitshow of a final which affected us so badly that they had to rewrite the rule on finishing top 4 and qualifying for CL. Come on P$G!

Barca never found their passes, nor did they have any cohesion and tactially they were a mess, at times couldn't get out their own half, even Lyon for example exploited the space they left in behind better albeit they couldn't finish. PSG are better than both teams in defensive shape and pressing and releasing the passes to their forwards and I fully expect Neymar/Mbappe and Di Maria to do a better job of it.

Good to watch this from 2:10 which explains how PSG could hurt Barca unlike the other teams did.



And yes it is true, Barca are crap, save a couple of world class individuals, the team are pants.

Poor decision making by Arsenal to sell him then, Kane was a very similar situation.

I think it's worth pointing out that Gnabry never looked like a future world beater at Arsenal and the reality is he has only really fully bloomed in the last few seasons, at 23ish. It's unlikely he would have been given that time at any top 6 club to develop.

Expected Bayern to drop Perisic, maybe expected for Coutinho and not Coman but later is probably better defensively.
