Pathetic.

Professional footballers who genuinely can't string more than 2 passes together. Players who constantly run into dead ends. Who need to take 3 or 4 more touches than the opposition.

Gutless performance from every one of them.

Ill be interested to hear Jose after what was one of the most pathetic performances i can remember in a long time. Truly terrible.
He’ll blame the free kick being taken from the wrong place and say we had better chances in the first half and if we took them it would have been different. It’s bollocks!

Meanwhile Sky Sports are previewing Chelsea’s new signings... Werner, Ziyech, Chilwell, Thiago, Havertz.

If that display doesn’t show Levy why he needs to spend immediately, nothing will.
But this is the same every season he doesn't think his policy is wrong but clearly it is.

I dipped in and out of the game but any thoughts why Dele was subbed so early?

Also, Hojbjerg looks fine to me, he just needs a more progressively minded midfielder next to him. What I did see was mostly bollocks though- it’s both depressing and perversely comforting to know that only our club could break Mourinho completely
because Jose has some weird fetish for Lucas

Def not the best start and it would have been easy to accept if there was one ounce of desire in there. I honestly thought we were still playing a pre-season friendly. My misguided hope for this season has been shattered already.

Deflated, lack of effort, energy, passion and quality. Not going to dig personal performances out as no player deserves credit for that.

We are in for a long painful season on that performance. We need quality and we need it quickly.

We looked OK in the first half. We looked abysmal in the second half after their goal.

I'd say this will be the story of our season. We will play a lot of matches where we look OK and we'll win a fair share of those- That's what you get when you play reactive counter-attacking football. But we'll be in trouble as soon as we go down because we'll be completely void of ideas.

So basically our season hinges on this Spurs team having a watertight defense.

Not sure how some of you are calling out any players performance today, because literally the WHOLE TEAM were awful.

Subs were awful too - Ndombele created a couple chances but was already very apparent we were never scoring today.

We were shit at the end of Poch.

But we were bloody good for 4 years under Poch.

Fucking hate it when people use that excuse.

Correct. The players didn’t turn bad overnight. They lost motivation and confidence (along with Poch) and we needed someone to come in and sort them out.

Looking forward for the excuses from Mourinho;

- upcoming fixture schedule.
- position of freekick
- won’t acknowledge any negatives in his approach.
Same could be said of the players, but let's just focus on the man in charge - no one covered themselves out there in glory today - sepertae the dislike for the man in charge and look at the larger picture - two managers - differing philosophies - same style and result ...

Newcastle last season.

I do post a lot on here but I must say I’m losing interest in the games. I haven’t watched us live once since lockdown. Follow it on here but that’s about it. I just don’t like the stress and anxiety it gives me.

Ooh.. Yeah... Not good, not good at all. I don’t half hate it when Spurs ruin my evening, we’ve had good spells - Redknapp and Poch - where ive been truly excited and proud of the team. Tonight isn’t one.

Ndombele so frustrating, but still more positives than Winks, PEH or Sissoko all game, and that’s why he needs to start. No good being a busy **** if you don’t do anything with it.
