Dumbest thing is I just want this done now so I can buy my son the new kit with Bales name on for his 8th birthday in October. Can’t afford to buy for both of us but I can live vicariously through him lauding it up with his mates at footy!

We've constantly been told it's a highly complicated deal.
Bale's arrangement with Madrid probably had loads of terms and bonuses tied into it, that now will need to be thoroughly gone through to decide who pays what etc etc.
I highly doubt the deal will collapse on some of these terms. All parties aren't going to walk away because they can't agree one tiny detail. It sounds like a lot of the most important factors have been agreed which is why all media, Bale's agent etc are happy to talk about it

Very possible the “who’s going to pay what” issue is not about how much each side is going to pay, but rather they’ve nailed down how much but now need to figure out which of the various parts to make up how much will be paid by what party.

Bale is NOT done yet. A couple of slight goalpost shifts today as far as payment structures are concerned but nothing to worry about. With a deal this size and complex it is not unexpected. Everyone involved wants this to happen and are all working to make it so.
