Given how wrong he was on Reggie yesterday (going to manyoo) I wonder whether Romano’s Madrid source might not be his most reliable.

Alternatively it could be Madrid leaking it to save face as it looks a bit like they’re having their pants pulled down to get Bale out!

We're told Madrid won't subsidise his wages for a loan. I will choose to interpret that as we're going to buy him for £30m, with Madrid paying £10m per year of his wages for three years

Perhaps I shouldn't have said moving the goalposts, as people are over thinking it to be a major issue. This is a huge transfer involving a lot of financial parts. It's normal to change small details on how things are to be done, and this is the case here.

I'm still confident at this moment in time.

On some forums, adding symbols either end formats the word - stars are often italics. He's probably a Reddit regular.

Hope so, but it would be nice to have the security regardless. If he got back to his best then half the clubs in Europe would probs be in for him on loan by next summer.
