Bit of an anti climax! We go again tomorrow.

Although the Spurs in new is definitely nagging at me, telling me there is something wrong!

How to literally take all the hype out of a major announcement? Dont announce it on a clean day and instead when theres football matches on all day.

Bale coming back is a massive deal. The media team are going to probably create something more than a 30 second video. Editing might be taking awhile.
Exactly which is why the Thiago comparisons can't be made.

Huge player for them but they didn't go over the top on announcement and he's not a previous fan fave who has great history with the club.

We were always going to spend time on an announcement.

The fact we haven't announced Reguilon only adds to us having nothing to be worried about as it's likely they have something prepared for both of them as well as their own

We all know it’s done so why do we need it announced so badly? ?

Why the speculation about something must have gone wrong just because we haven’t tweeted the thing that everyone already knows has happened?

Have some Valium, maybe a glass of milk and let it happen when it happens!

To save you all going potty, we've been told that it'll be tomorrow.

There's no point in moaning about it or wondering/speculating as to why. But you will :D

Just to add, we were told this from two different sources, the first at 7pm. We weren't 100% confident and thought we'd look like idiots if we posted "tomorrow" and then he was announced minutes later so we left it, then Dragon1 seemed confident it'd be tonight still. Second source confirmed it'll be announced tomorrow.

Dont know why we could not get that info earlier? No worries but could have saved some energy and nerves here.

Whatever, see you tmrw

Edit: cheers Rob

So much for dragon1’s crystal ball.
Doesn't mean it wasn't the plan when he passed it on?

We live in a world that changes. I've had plenty of completion meetings/calls postponed at the last minute. Deals to complete the next day instead. Happens all the time.

Let's be honest, there was never an intention to announce tonight. A small hiccup wouldn't have prevented it from happening *at any point*, and a massive setback would have been leaked or reported on. Some kind of signal that it was happening tomorrow, or Monday, or whenever, would have been really useful though.

Friday just before close of business is universally regarded as the absolute worst time to drop news in the States. It is always when organizations announce things which they wish to sweep under the rug. You could not possibly choose a worse time than now for the announcement.

So we also missed the perfect time to announce Deeney???
