Losing your shit waiting on an official announcement is so weird to me. Does it really matter if it was yesterday or tomorrow? He's a Tottenham player and it will be official, you can't control when it is announced, so why get angry?

Ive only been following Spurs since 2010 but even in that relatively short span, Ive seen enough “we tried,” broken fax machines, getting gazumped, goalpoats getting moved and sudden reversals that I never EVER accept something is done until its officially announced.

So waiting for the announcement is like a pipe under pressure waiting to burst.

Need that release so I can continue my weekend with a tad less stress.

Good night :cautious:

Still waiting on delivery of 2 signings but know they'll turn up while I'm on the shitter. Always the way.
Isn't it always.
My lad left his book here at the weekend and has been supposed to pick it up all week. I finally get a message this morning saying he's going to collect it.
"What time?" I say, finishing my coffee and wandering off for my morning shit.
No sooner had I opened the bomb bay doors, there a fucking knock on the door.
One hasty wipe and awkward waddle to the door an there he is, ready to collect his book.
He has a quick fuss of the dog before leaving me to recommence my morning ablutions.
No sooner have I relaxed back into it but my fucking door knocks again.
He's back again with my daughter, who had been waiting in the car with their mum but suddenly decided that she needed to see the dog too!

Three times, it took me to have my morning shit!!

FWIW if I had to guess at what might cause a delay, I’d say approvals. Producing any content requires multiple approvals, so even with in-house teams it can be tough to get things done fast. Factoring in the significance of this signing, I’m sure it’s even worse. Every pleb in the corporate hierarchy will suddenly rate themselves a Cannes Lion winning Creative Director, insisting their pedantic feedback is the difference between global viral success and social media obscurity. Levy will no doubt be micro-managing, plus Bale’s team will also have their say. So spare a thought for the creatives and content managers who are probably having to bite their tongues as they graft like streetwalkers.
Welcome to my life.

Sundown in London is at 7pm. That is the official end of the holy day. My guess is that Levy, who is I believe a member of the tribe, won't want to announce before he can actually enjoy it. 7pm gmt 2pm est, few more hours to go all. ✡
Isn’t the second day of Rosh Hashanah tomorrow lol?

If you really need an official announcement after Madrid and their manager saying he's gone, him flying on a private jet from Madrid to Luton, him literally being filmed entering our training ground, Levy leaving yesterday, countless press inches, his agent saying he's going to Spurs, ITK's saying it's done, a second signing not being official either who is also there and everyone's avatar being Bale (which is obviously the clincher), he's at our training ground, he stayed the night in the player's accommodation.

They're trying to make an impact media release for probably one of our biggest signings ever, to get as much traction worldwide and increase revenue and support for the club.

Worrying about things you can't control, is an exercise in futility, especially when all the evidence shows that you've got nothing to worry about

At least @SpursOfficial have had the decency to stop trolling fans with inane shite about their new gardener or training ground drinks provider. The silence is deafening and that can only be a good thing...

Could be something simple like they want Jose and Kane interviews done as well before the Southampton game. There was a youth NLD and also full training so they wouldn't of been available until this afternoon
