Not so sure why we need a 'main man' ... What we need is for them all to step up and contribute if we are to win stuff. Certaintly do not see Kane as the type to strop at a signing that is done to improve our chances of silverware.

Been a long while since I’ve posted.....been a long while since I’ve donated but there isn’t a day that goes by where I don’t check in on SC and end up pissing myself laughing at some of the craic that goes on in here. The characters in here are absolutely second to none!!

The past few days have been unreal. I can’t ever remember being on such a high with this team of ours and I’ve been supporting them since Tony Parks penalty heroics in 84. We needed this lift after the shite served up last weekend. Recent ITK is also very positive. It gives us hope that maybe we can push on now and bring the glory days back.

Thanks to each and everyone of you for your contributions to the upkeep of this forum & thanks to all of the staff for providing the platform. Given its been a while since my last donation, I’ve hopefully made up for it with a £400 donation to cover the costs for the next month.

COYS!!!

Bale.........Bale........Bale!!!

Kane himself said, he wants us to improve year on year. Why would he throw a strop after the latest signings? Different story if we were signing duds from France

So happy about this. Didn't think it was ever possible until this week.

Despite everything he did for them, Real Madrid never loved him as much as Spurs love him. He's in the right place now.

Darren Lewis talking absolute sense on SSN right now. Telling it how it is...if United sign Bale “it’s a measure of their ambition”. If Spurs sign Bale, people question the signing.

What a great window we're having and it's not done yet.
There's no doubt we are now stronger than we were last season.
Missing DM, sorted.
Weak rb, sorted.
Weak lb, sorted.
Plus Gareth fkin Bale to boot and more to come in a back up striker and maybe another.
We've had worse windows lol.
Now to make it tick.

Exactly why I said I do not see Kane stropping as he wanted the team to be improved.

Kane wants to win trophies, he don’t give a shit about being the ‘main man’.

And tbh even with Bale I’d say he still is anyways.

Anywhoo, now the inpatient wait for Bale to be fit to at least make bench! ??

Hoping this will lift us spiritually anyways, but still concerned until he is ready we’ll struggle a bit although hopefully Ndombele will continuing to settle more and the dynamism Reguilòn will add to our left flank will improve creativity a bit.

Still concerned about our centre backs and lack of creativity from midfield, goes to show team has been allowed to stagnate so badly.

And I wonder if we’ll be able to get him for another season after this?

The negativity from some media about Bale really mystifies, yes he is 31 and has carried injuries but thats a minor to what he actually brings.
The same media that were all for a 33 year old Messi (still the best IMO) to join City..so odd that the age thing matters more for Bale and us than Messi and Man City.

All the Bale posts but this is one of my favourite memories. My first away game and I got on MOTD

Kane will be lifted by this double signing. When he is on it mentally he is the most lethal striker in the world, without any exaggeration. I’m as excited to see his reaction, on the pitch, as the Bale signing itself. Don’t underestimate how this will change the dynamic of the squad for the better.
