Dias would be a great signing. Bringing in a Young and high quality CB makes a lot of sense.

Not a discussion for the ITK thread but in terms of Benfica we’ve previously and/or currently been linked with:

Tavares - young RB
Dias - CB
Florentino Luis - young DM
Pizzi - 30 year old ACM
Seferović - 28 year old striker
Vinícius- 25 year old striker

Given we want a CB, CM/ACM, Striker - albeit a rarity there’s 3 players at Benfica who all fit the bill.

If we do go for him, then what length of contract do you think we're looking at? Four Seasons?

I can't see Foyth staying if we sign a 23 year old CB (Dias). He'd be down to 7th choice CB, with Tanganga and Davies seemingly ahead of him in Jose's pecking order.
Dier (26), Sanchez (24), Dias (23), Tanganga (21) could be our defence sorted out for the foreseeable future. Training with, and intermittently playing alongside, Toby for the next couple of years will benefit all of them.

Forget CM and CF for this window. Get a quality CB and top up the two other positions in the next few windows.

There's plenty up top for goalscoring now now in emergencies plus we have a stacked midfield with our two first picks last year being 5th and 5th choice at the moment.

Plus there's only so many players you can assimilate at once.
