Yeah same. If you watch any compliations of Alli it's clear he's a massively talented footballer and has done some incredible stuff in a Spurs shirt. But equally we can't be too sentimental when it comes to the future of the club: if he's not improving, has a bad attitude and is holding us back then I think it's better that we move him on.As much as I agree, I’d still be gutted if he left.
Just sign some cheap veterans and throw them on the bench. Or surely we have a couple in the youth ranks over 21 that we could "promote"If we are already in homegrown trouble with him how are we going to fill out a squad without him?
Dele gets constant dogs abuse, but now there's rumours of him going people are saying they want him to stay and selling is a mistake.
What's for fucks sake in French?
He has been poor for two years. Only effective in limited formations which you have to build around him.
Shit attitude. Look no further than the doc when Jose told him he is a bad trainer and Dele laughed about it.
If we can sell to buy Dias I am all for it.
Disagree. Imagine if your boss told you that you aren’t working hard enough at the job and you laughed.Seemed like a self-depricating, respectful laugh to me. I thought he took it well.
I love Dele and I would be sad to see him leave.
That said, he’s looked off the pace for the majority of the last two years now.
He’s been given ample opportunity to turn it around and doesn’t seem to be doing so. He’s a young player on a long contract so it makes sense we cash in while his value is high if we’re going to do so.
It might also finally hammer the point home to the likes of Dier and Winks that nobody is safe in this squad.
As Poch said, a painful rebuild is needed. Seeing Dele leave will be painful, but based on the last two years we’re better off trading him in and strengthening elsewhere.
Yep one of the best things about Jose coming in is he’s pragmatic and ruthless and basically the perfect manager for a rebuild. Some players will suffer from it but ultimately we will be better off for it.Painful rebuild. Far too many got far too comfortable towards the end of the Pochettino Era. Mauricio knew it and we couldn’t move quick enough. Mourinho rightly offered a blank slate but I think he’s rooting out some of the culprits now.
Spot on.I love Dele and I would be sad to see him leave.
