Whats the thoughts on the Jack Robinson's incident, for me its just bad luck, Robinson' got to the ball first and the timing of Berg Guðmundsson's arrival was just unfortunate. I have watched it a few times and I cant see how this was malicious... thoughts?

We should sue over this, genuinely.

When the fuck does someone play on a Saturday after Europa on the Thursday?

We have previous... Played Sevilla on Thurs evening then Chelsea at SB on the Sat lunchtime.

I think that was when Jose was at SB and started the "parking the bus" expression.

No Jose coined parking the bus when we held them to a 0-0 bore draw in Santini's brief spell, we weren't in Europe at the time.

But we won't be playing United that Saturday, the PL are just being extremely slow with their TV picks. Probably still haggling over whether they're all going to be shown on telly or not.

Cheers Marty. Helping the Aged. Again.

If teams outside of the Premier League and Championship aren't required to carry out regular COVID-19 testing, should Premier League and Championship teams be expected to compete against them in the cups? Every match risks a top-flight team being out of action for long enough to completely trash their entire season.

Even if the richer, higher division clubs pay for their lower division opponents to test their players before the game (as we apparently did with Leyton Orient), ad hoc testing like this is not an adequate solution. Most people wouldn't test positive within the first five days and some wouldn't test positive until even later. If a team picks up the virus from a League Two game on a Saturday and then plays a midweek cup game, most infected players would not test positive until after the cup game.
This is why testing at airports isn't an alternative to quarantining upon return from a holiday and why Kane had to quarantine for a period after his trip to the Bahamas even though he was tested.

If our cup game does go ahead on Tuesday, I presume that must mean only players who haven't trained/competed with those who've tested positive are playing. Anything else (e.g. only players who've tested positive omitted) would be utterly reckless.

And its 2-0

Rubbish from Leicester hardly tried. Goons not much better. This competition needs sacking off.

Newport just taken an early lead. Shocking goalkeeping though. Really have to save that. Goes under him too easy.

Newport could be out of sight... Two or three presentable chances in the last couple of minutes of the first half.
