To be honest I'm not sure it was. Pogba didn't touch him and the player trailed his leg so that Pogba would connect and even then he was already in his way down.

Was exactly the same thing Fernandes had been doing to get pens

Absolutely correct - and when United have been winning those sort of penalties there is consistency whatsoever.

Brighton contributing to their own downfall here.

Getting sucked into the back and forth of the game causing them to push too high up.

If you play United don't play a high line cause they'll take advantage, you want to have plenty of bodies back and make them create.

I don’t get why Brighton were throwing two defenders in front of the keeper there. Obviously blocking the line of sight for Ryan. Should’ve pressed....

How can the lineswoman not see that?

Because they are instructed this season to keep the flag down on any tight decision and allow VAR to check for certain.
Want to avoid linesman incorrectly putting flag up on tight calls and the defence stopping due to that, and goal being awarded by VAR.

It's amazing how every one of those Connolly incidents got given as a penalty last season for United, hence why they had so many, the bias is unreal.
