Today's ref is one of two new refs promoted to the PL this season. I believe we had the other one at Saints.

Not much opposition but that was probably the best, most coherent and settled halves of football since Mourinho came.

I think that's the best half of football I've seen under Jose and I'm including last week's 4 goals against soton in that. Utterly dominated them. I don't know if we've made them look bad or they are just terrible or a mixture of both. Their keeper has made at least 3 phenomenal saves and we've hit the woodwork twice.

Like a training exercise. Newcastle playing like cut-outs. Exactly the kind of game where we need to learn how to finish the opposition early, destroy them. We may well carry on like this in the second half but we should be sat on a big cushion ready for Tuesday.
