So, everyone saying that turgid game was down to one person? The manager?

Assuming the perspective is that these are great players who are being squashed by the manager’s tactics. Has nothing to do with the players and their mentality? Could it be a combo of both?

Right now, I just see a team that cannot transition the ball up the field, string three passes together, and move off the ball. Everyone is static. No one runs.

How many misplaced passes from Winks today? How many from Doherty? How is it Davies fucks up on their corner? Why is it Kane lost every single challenge. Sonny barely moved. And Ndombele tried here and there, but was also static.

Im sorry, but this looks like the exact same turgid shit, during the last calendar year under Poch.

Putting the blame on the manager and giving the players a free pass is not fair. Could and should the coach do better... of course. But the players also need a much better mentality than what we are seeing.
There's a big difference. Under Poch, such performance is the fault of the lads. Under Mourinho, such perform is the fault of the coach.

The biasness will never go away for some.

JM again repeats the same tactics , the same tactics that get us a draw everygame. Its not like we can't attack. Last few minutes of that match as well as palace shows that we can when we want to. Soo stubborn he just never learns.

I can just imagine what Dele was thinking............Sissoko can get on I can't. I must find a buyer for my house.

I haven't jumped into the Jose hate camp because I've never been convinced he's the right manager for us anyway. I like him (I always have) but unless he starts to evolve pdq, I can see the revolving door of managers starting to spin again.

Chill lads.. I've had a think abt it..
It's Jose's master plan to fleece baldy into a couple more signings in jan!!!( think Everton performance)

Our forwards don't even seem to play upfront for most of the game.

It's truly baffling.
It is you’re right. I haven’t a clue what the tactics are (apart from parking the proverbial bus). I don’t know what he is trying to achieve cos it’s not trying to win by controlling the game or creating more chances. I don’t know what Jane and Son’s roles are anymore.

We drew today because of our negative tactics , not because Wolves were better. If we had been more positive and had the determination and desire to have more possession, we could easily have won this game. Taking our MOTM off was another mistake.

Then they’ll both likely be injured within a month and we won’t have them for the run in at this rate.

totally correct. Kane is looking knackered - his big injury is just a matter of time. and without one or both of them, we will look a bottom half side.

honestly, i can’t believe the football i’m watching. i was warned by Man Utd fans it was this bad, but i didn’t believe it.

Awful performance. One thing I will add is the capacity is there to play attacking as each time we have conceded late we tend to pile on the pressure to get a goal. But it doesn’t bode well playing for a draw most games that we play and hope to nick one based on Son and Kane’s briliance.

Jota, Neto,Jiminez,Podence,Fabio Silva, Neves ,Saiss. Arrive in wolves and rip it up regardless of age, position and experience.

Spurs get their own Jorge Mendes player who will cost a reported 40 mill if we close the deal and he's sat in the stands every week.

The players are good enough the manager is good enough just need a tactical adjustment to play a bit more attacking and will we be fine

undeserved point. wish someone would tell Mourinho that the best form of defence is attack we might see an improvement. Ask Wolves, Palace, Liverpool and Leicester they did it. we might have got away with it v Man C and Chelsea, but your not get away with it every game.

If Kane wants out it would be due to our style. He's got his sight on Shearer's goal record and that will not happen when our tactics is based on scoring once and defending from there.
He is also going to be knackered with all the running he needs to do when we don’t have the ball. He’s looked really leggy the last few games, not surprised the number of minutes he has played. If we are going to just play long ball why not play Vinicius with Kane and Son in behind.

But we were negative in the first half. We went 1-0 up and decided to concede possession. I cannot understand that. Logic says keep the ball and make them chase it. Execute plan B - keep the ball and tire them out trying to get the ball. Mentally it's going to be tough having to constantly defend. Kane and Son are now playing deeper and deeper where there impact becomes null.

with Sanchez, Dier, Davies, Winks, Sissoko in our side, keeping the ball is just not an option. they either have no first touch or simply cannot make a simple pass. cannot rely on them to keep the ball.

doesnt matter who we buy in January folks. They wont play for us until half way through 2022 after they have settled in and gained the trust of whatever philosopher is at the helm at that stage.

Haha the way he played tonight Jane would be more fitting. Sorry to all the aspiring James out there- sexist comment

Let's be honest, Mourinho is not going to cut it.

I honestly thought he'd be more proactive after recent failures.

Fuck me he breeds negativity and I was a big supporter of him.
