Yeah we did but Burnley got inside our penalty area a few times and with a but more quality would have troubled us. Vs Palace we had that 10 minute period before half time where we just decided to drop deep and then we conceded.

I'm going to put my neck on the line and say he won't win a meaningful trophy for the rest of his managerial days as there will always be better coaches than him.

I was alarmed out how poor his coaching methods were. At first I defended it because I thought he was just building the platform but it really became clear that he can't do it in this modern climate. He relies totally on the brilliance of players and even some of them he pisses off so much they want out.

it was easy to fall for the charm offensive and think he was a changed man. regardless of what one thinks about Bale long term, when we needed a goal in multiple games and he barely got a sniff, it was pretty apparent that he was a systems guy and not a great manager. (and that system may be outdated). he is of the opinion that it is more important to fit players into his system rather than adjust the system for the players. maybe it works if he can buy most of the players he wants and that's the only way i would see him being a success in the future.

The world class players were the ones why kept performing for him?

And they're the same ones who got it handed to them against City?

Tell me, which world class player was it that your beloved Mourinho kept ignoring, despite almost singlehandedly saving his job by scoring/assisting in the few games he was allowed to play in, didn't play in last week's final, therefore didn't get it handed to him, but ONCE AGAIN proved that the ego was a complete prick for not using him, by scoring a superb hat-trick yesterday evening?

You're absolutely right. Nothing at all to do with Mourinhos tactics .

Yet, all of this talk (directed towards you) would never be happening if you hadn't taken it upon yourself to call everybody out with the totally unnecessary post quoted below. And when you get called out yourself, you end by saying "I'm done talking about Jose".

Bless you.
Argh!!!! My god seriously it’s a difference of opinion. The reason I said I’m done is because no matter what I say until I am blue in the face you’re going to disagree. That’s why I said I’m done. It’s done. Please stop quoting my posts. I’ve already put one idiot on ignore for disliking my posts without him explaining himself. Let’s just move on it’s done now right?

I mean just imagine if he freaking played Bale vs Everton & Newcastle.... what a moron.

Literally all or most of the games where we've gone ahead, parked the bus and got caught late on I think quite easily could have been wins under a different manager.

It’s interesting how some players liked him (Kane being the obvious one) and how according to most reports the majority of the squad was glad to see the back of him.

Kane wasn’t suffering under Mourinho but the team/squad was clearly not living up to its potential, as Bale has barely been bothering to hide.

looking forward to reading the memoirs in years to come

He couldn’t bring himself to play attacking football despite that being our strongest card to play.

Another Manager could have accepted being less compact but Mourinho puts so much of his ego into the team that he couldn’t bare it. Even against the small teams he wanted to counter attack.

Just the wrong man for our squad and what a relief to see proper football being played yesterday!

That came out of absolutely nowhere! And to think TalkSport have been bragging all week that they hired him...

we should start a fundraiser to help with the depression and plight that the poor Roma fans have heading their way from the start of next season.
