He won’t have come out with that opinion based on a simple hunch. He’s the best informed of any of us. It’s not a foregone conclusion but it seems that if City or whoever pay up, then he’s gone. The big question is what’s our price? My suspicion is that it’s something between £120m and £150m (and that is a pure hunch!)

I'd be surprised if City stump up 150m.. and remember this is pure profit for Levy given he cost nothing, and a large amount of wages off the bill, so it will be a big fee, surely over £100m, but not ample recompense for losing a generational home grown star who has been the heart of this club.

Let's sell Kane, if he wants to leave it's no idea to keep him. It will just be the new Erikson! Levy forced him to stay and then got almost nothing for him compared if we sold him earlier.

For the money we get from Kane, go all in for Haaland!
But our focus should also be on 2 new CB and 1 RB to start with

Pep is very smart. Saw Spurs on an upwards trajectory and challenging when he first arrived so he took Walker now he wants to completely demolish any hope by taking Kane a few years later. Actually hate City more than most on here tbh.

Yeah I'm saying I wish we had a team like that, my 2nd paragraph was acknowledging that unfortunately it's clear we don't. I agree with you that this squad needs about 10 players to go.

Well he's worked at Bayern who are the masters of doing that. But this isn't a grand plan by Pep it's a big old fuck up by Levy.

After the arsehole of the season we've had, I don't think I'm emotionally equipped to deal with things going sour with Kane or him going to United. I can come to terms with City but not United.
