Whenever he got it you felt something may happen and at the very least you knew he would retain the ball or win a freekick.

Actually watching him there, makes me really wish we went all out to get a lot of good talent around him. Seriously special player and I guess it stood out to me even more in a match like tonight because he was surrounded by other players who are also considered some of the best in the league and he still looked a level above.
He's Englands only world class player for me. A few have potential to be but he is the finished product.

He couldn’t stop grinning during his post match interview.

Maybe because his name was being sung throughout it.

I can’t see Kane going this year, maybe next year. The better he does with England, the more Levy will push the price. I just don’t see it as do-able for anyone.

Oooft, just caught up in the Daily ITK Thread, hahahah, how many of you got the ? and the following ?????!!!

I think I have and I didn't even post anything!!

Joint level as England's all time scorer at major tournaments with Lineker on 10. Score on Sunday and he takes it.

What a moment that would be.

What's the chance Southgate can sneak Son in disguised as an England winger for the final?
I was thinking his cross for Sterling early in the first half would have Son on the end of it. Mainly because he would have anticipated it sooner than Sterling having got used to Kanes delivery. It feels like the England players are just getting used to his all round game.

Tonight was Kane in spurs mode. Playing deep, linking up play and still looking an attacking threat

Seems like the group stage was his normal August for us

Good performance from Kane- amazing composure throughout.

However, I'm making this post to say that Sterling was England's best player tonight imo (despite doing some annoying shit at times, especially in the first half).

Thought he was amazing. Really grabbed the game and led properly by example.

Worst penalty I've ever seen him take but he got it done.

I am sure exactly the same thing has happened against schmeichel before. It was the season before Leicester won the league and we beat them at WHL with a Kane missed penalty and rebound.

He looked determined not to go out with a whimper and really left it all out there. Deserved his luck with the pen rebound considering the pressure he would have been feeling and should have been given another.

Not sure winning with England will satisfy Kane’s ambition. It might get the trophy monkey off his back but it is the lack of CL football that hurts our chances. Imagine going from the adrenaline of tonight to the ECL next season? H

Doesn’t matter what he wants. Whether England win or not. The buying team has to match the asking price. Which is gonna be huge. Harry can whine and cry, until he‘s out of tears and breath, but he has 3 years left on his contract, and Levy is in the driving seat. Only one team can afford him in the PL. But are they willing to throw 150m at Daniel? And that’s just the opening bid. Maybe next summer is a possibility. This summer… not a hope in hell he’s going anywhere.

Just amazing, he not only was England's best player, he led them to victory from start to finish.

If he gets a good few chances in the final we will win, barring a pickford/walker calamity.

He doesn't get the plaudits from the media at all, he is dragging England through this (with sterling and Maguire).

A captains performance, him and Maguire were outstanding and sterling was very good but Kane was a leader out there today, wouldn't be at all surprised if the Italians try and nobble him in the final.

If he scores in the final he becomes the highest English goalscorer in final tournaments, the golden boot winner (again) and he bleeds spurs.

Will probably be England's top goalscorer of all time by the end of the next world cup - world class, legend.

He’s gone. Him de Bruyne, sterling will anihilate teams next year.
No one has 150+ millions to pay for him. He is the best striker in the world right now, arguably third best player in the world after CR7 and Messi. And he has 3 years left on his contact

Mad how he got most of his World Cup goals in the group and this Euros he's banged them in the knockouts.

As for golden boot, if he scores two on Sunday he'll win it and pull clear of Lineker in the all time tournament scorers list in the process. He'll get that regardless next World Cup anyways if he is fit though.
