Offer them a £150mil deal, or £120mil and Silva or Laporte and put a deadline on it of 10 days.

Gets us through the City game and gives us time to sort out deals too before the summer ends. But doesn’t matter how, just get this fuck sold for a fair price.
10 days is too long.
We need to consider whether we need to sign a Kane replacement and backup, or just backup. In 10 days the season has started

@thespursweb

NEW: Harry Kane can force a move to Man City by buying himself out of his contract at Tottenham due to the Webster Ruling. Article 17 allows players who signed their contract before the age of 28 to buy themselves out of their deal. [The Sun]

Is this possible. ??

Let Charlie and him negotiate with Levy on that. They'll walk out with a new 6 year contract

Im assuming we’re going for Vlahovic no matter what, which means we have a bit more time. But as I said, timescale doesn’t matter, I don’t want to see him in our shirt anymore

At the time HK signed his 6 year contract, he was represented by USM (who had employed CK as a condition of HK signing with them in the first place). CK went on his own (with CK66) within weeks of that deal being signed off.

It's possible that knowing they were on their way out, USM just maximised the commission they made on that deal - and didn't worry about things like buy-out clauses (which would have involved a lot more difficult negoations with DL) as they knew they'd be out of the picture if such a clause ever became relevant. If that is the case then HK/CK really did have their pants pulled down - although they are also reaping what they sowed.
They really are as dumb as they look huh?

I knew fuck all about Charlie before this shit, but I’m overwhelmed by how stupid Kane has acted in all this. And more so, how he continues to act when it’s obvious this is a monumental fuck up
It's weird how we view our favourite footballers. Footballers in general are said and known to be stupid. There are some exceptions of course, I'd say our own Lloris and Vertonghen definitely are among those, and there's a retired Norwegian footballer who's famously a member of Mensa. I don't think anyone ever held Kane to those standards, but when you love someone like we loved Kane, it's so hard to imagine them being a complete moron. Even if they don't come off as bright, you think that they surely must be of average intelligence at least. But outright stupid? No, not my Harry. And then he goes and blows his cover like that.

Just watched back the Neville interview...interesting that Kane was opposed to the Euro Super League for fear of losing competitiveness of football...
He also spoke about watching the Michael Jordan documentary who happened to stay with Chicago Bulls throughout his career.

Michael would have left if he got a better offer and I know he was tempted at times as he despises the GM (like DoF) Jerry Krause.

For me it's the shock of it, because he was always the model professional. He never did anything stupid off the pitch. Never partied, never had those messy photos like King and Woodgate, never caused any issues. To me it doesn't feel like the same Harry Kane I have been watching since he burst on to the scene.

I get that, and to a degree I agree. However, everything should be on our terms and with our clubs best interests. I think by giving 10 days leeway we are sat waiting around and City could in effect do nothing for 10 days, only to drop a bid in at the end of the 10th day.
We might have a different 1st option such as Isak if Kane leaves. Vlahovic may not be our priority, dependant on the Kane outcome

Waiting until the season has started could see us missing out on targets if were unsure of whether we need a first choice or backup

Can't believe that's still no responses from him to confirm his return. Fucking child. Such disappointing role model for his kids and all kids.
Agree wholeheartedly.
Kids looking up to HK now when they will get conflicting reports about his actions etc.
Such a shame

What’s hilarious about them is that they clearly market themselves as a big agency yet, according to Transfermarkt, Harry is the only football client.

I believe Harry got Troy Parrott to sign with USM when he and CK were still with them but TP obviously decided against following them out the door!

If it was me - and Kane were forced to stay here another year, I would not register him for the Europa Conference League, nor put him on any match-day squads for the League or FA Cup. That way if Spurs did win a Trophy, Kane would not.

But, I am petty and vindictive, so, I might not be the best person to make these kind of decisions...
Knowing our luck we'd win the League

Anyone else petrified about how we will do on the pitch without Kane?

He carried us last season (to 7th), in the second half of the season we were regularly being outplayed by relegation candidates. Without Kane we are probably struggling to make top 10 with the current squad. (Perhaps worse)

We currently have three players (son, peh and lloris) that are good enough, we wouldn't be that bothered if we sold the majority of the other players.

We are relying on a 21 year old to boss it after one good season in the championship.

We currently have 1 striker on the books without Kane (and that's if you call son a striker).

If you made a list of all our midfield players, the only one you wouldn't sell is hoijberg.

We have sold our best defender and none of the others could be described as having had a good season.

We have a new manager and any new players will need time to settle. We are apparently reliant on selling 5/6 players to bring more players in (Romero apart) which given the ability of those players is optimistic to think we will sell them for a reasonable fee.

Pep said 'the Harry Kane team'. It was disrespectful and shows the class (or lack there of) from that club.

But he wasn't wrong.

At this point I'm glad we got in Nuno (as an experienced pl manager) because if we'd have taken a punt on Gerard or someone who lacked experience in this league we could be pulled into a relegation battle.

We are relying on Dele, Lucas, ndombele, GLC and bergwijn to bring an attacking threat (son apart). That is depressing, let's hope Fabio can work miracles, because he really has to.

That poch spurs team of 2016/17 would absolutely pulverise us at the moment. We have dropped (and are dropping) like a stone.

Kane is being an absolute dick in the way he is going about it, but he would be fucking stupid to stay with us given the direction we are going, boyhood club or not.
