Yep, he will stay for at least another season, it is what it is. Now get your ass back and start scoring a ton of goals.

Over on the bluemoon forum "Just heard that the deal is losing momentum. City not willing to meet Spurs demands on fee so only way this’ll happen is if we sell Bernardo and Laporte."

This honestly feels like the worst case scenario. Keeping an unhappy player who won't give maximum effort and now faces a fractured relationship with everyone at the club, not least his teammates and the fans, while we don't get extra cash to reinvest into the squad.

Did not think I'd be saying this even just a few weeks ago, but desperately hope we can shift him for a good fee now.

I am sure there was a conversation and Harry likely received assurances along the lines of not blocking a fair bid, but I just can't see Levy putting a specific number on that, I mean why would he. If this was last summer, we were in the middle of the pandemic with no idea when matchday revenues would ever return.

There has also been contradictions from the Kane camp, he mentions £100 million to Neville, but the Sun story quotes £160 million. If the gentlemen's agreement was specific why would they quote a larger number in a story which they were obviously behind.

Agree with this, pretty much think it was wishful thinking by Kane that Spurs would let him go for a cut price when it suited his agenda to leave. Even in the Neville interview Kane suggested 100m but Neville said put a 2 in front of it, so he must have been aware of a realistic market price.
The supposed agreement must have been made at least a year ago because it was based on Spurs not qualifying for the CL. There is no way anyone would agree to a fixed priced at a point in the future, especially Levy, when there are so many variables that can happen in the intervening time.
I hope when he finally gives an interview to explain his situation someone nails him on this point, but it will be the usual cop out.
I just can't get over how arrogant and self serving Kane has come across in this episode without any respect for the club, it's players and supporters especially in these COVID times when so many people are struggling and the fact he has travelled to Florida, the current COVID capital of the world and hiding behind the isolation and quarantine rules so he does not return to training.
Absolutely pathetic.

Mourinho's big mistake was telling Levy what he wanted to hear about the strength of our squad. Our CBs aren't top half material let alone top 4. Paratici has obviously highlighted this so I am actually much more optimistic about this season. We have quality attacking players, with or without Harry, but we can't go into every game knowing we will be essentially starting from at least 0-1 down

I don't see how, Jose got an £18 million a year contract out of Levy by spouting that shite. Credit where credit's due.

As has been repeated many times, Modric had his best season for us in the year after his move to Chelsea was refused. Kane has always been about himself so if he stays, he won't go easy as he still has all his personal record ambitions to achieve.

Even if he does stay now i think he has lost the majority of the fan base. He will not be supported or cheered the way he was. Far from it.

I hate the guy.

But I cheer whenever Spurs score a goal - I suspect everyone else will too. Sure, he won't get his song - but people want Spurs to win.
