Pep is the most overrated, bastarding manager of all time.
I’ve always said that I can win a Champions League with that Barcelona squad — blindfold.
it’s one thing to win a trophy with Messi, Xavi and Iniesta.
It’s another thing to win it — twice — with Ian Bowyer and Kenny Burns. A tribute to the true GOAT.

think this stops the whole “charlie and harry are acting alone” theory.

city have had their grubby paws on this from the start. it might have looked amateurish, but it’s clearly been coordinated.

****s.

I don't think anyone actually believed it was only Charlie and Harry.

It's clear that City has been in their ear the whole time.

Pep has said that Bernardo Silva wants to leave City.

I'm sure it's extremely unlikely for a multitude of reasons, but if he actually were willing to come, how would people feel about him being included as part of a deal for Kane?

honestly, it looked as if city had nothing to do with it. it seemed like an amateur hour agent panicking.

now, in hindsight, it’s clear he’s been advised by city how to get harry out.

He would probably be our best player alongside Sonny. So anyone who would turn him down would be mental IMO.

£120m+ Bernardo Silva and I think that would be hard to reject.

Him and Laporte should be the players looked at if it isn’t just cash.

Can’t see how Harry being forced to stay is going to do anyone any good tbh. Got to do some negotiations at some point, even if it’s 160 down to 150 and more add ons.

*I really don’t know what the figures would be.
Kane will have a value assigned to him as an asset on the balance sheet (which none of us will be privvy to) and Levy (being Levy) wont be taking anything less than that value as that would lead to a (non-cash) impairment charge being taken were he to be sold for less than his book value. So, not sure which side it is (City or Kane & co) but someone involved has made a BIG mistake on this.

Now that Barca aren't renewing with Messi, I think that opens up Silva to them unfortunately :(

however, i’ll add that i believe charlie kane is the only agent who is amateurish enough to go along with this “plan” and drag harry’s name through the mud.

as some have said, Barnett would have sold kane 4 times over by now.

You have to remember, when it comes to forums like blue moon. A lot of those members will be very young. They will have only been watching football for 10-20 years tops. Likely starting off supporting City when they first started winning things. City only have two types of fans, young ones who just wanted to follow the team that won the most and bought all the players. Then the longer term fans who remember where they were before all the oil money arrived.

They’re the definition of a plastic club. No history, no memories before Agueros goal, and all of their main players and manager are basically just mercenaries who would have never have dreamt of playing for them until someone waved a few hundred thousand pounds a week under their noses. There’s no one in the past who would have “one day dreamed to play for City”. Only people born more recently may ‘dream’ of it, because they become aware that if they get a three year contract then at some point they will write their name on most of the winners medals because these awards just default to the club who purchased them.

Occasionally we get lucky, and sometimes football wins. Wigan beating them for the FA Cup, Leicester winning the premier league. However at some point it will always revert back to them because they just put money in until they win. To be honest I’m not entirely sure how you even feel right celebrating winning when you play for, or support them. It’s like entering a soapbox derby with the Ferrari your rich uncle bought you.

Empty soulless stadium, with empty soulless coridoors to house plastic, flakey, fake fans who celebrate their mercenary players who actually have no true feeling for the club or area, and a classless, arrogant manager who has never won anything that wasn’t bought for him.

Unfortunately though, This is football now.

Shit club, shit fans, no history. As plastic as it gets. No where without money.

There is no way Silva wants to join Spurs in the conference league.

It will be top 3 in Spain or a Bayern or something.

Mind you, who are these clubs that will buy these expensive City players? They'll end up staying at City

I'd love him. I doubt he'd want to come, but when push comes to shove, we might be his only way out of there.

Great player and instantly improves us. Would be very pleased. Be amazed if he would agree to join us though.
