Whatever they win in the next 4 years, even the CL, Kane won’t even be remembered by City fans in the way they loved Aguero, Toure, Silva, Kompany etc.

And he has ruined his Spurs legacy.

the £millions probably means he won’t, but I hope one day Kane realises what he pissed away and regrets it a little bit

What a mess this is gonna turn into. Can't believe people are enjoying selling our best player to city.

We won't sign any one as good as kane ever again. I'd have sooner kept him for 3 years and let him go for nothing than sold him. But then I'm a football fan not a bean counter who cares about maximising returns.

What with the home game on Sunday, barring possible cup games, it's probably just as well he won't be back for at least 18 months.

I do wonder how much mourinho has influenced Kane’s behaviour. Before the neg reps I’m not blaming mourinho!
I’m just suggesting mourinhos methods and self certification are much more akin to this type of behaviour and attitude.
I can’t see him acting this way if for Instance poch and his morals were still at the club.

Thanks for the memories Harry - but you’ve completely ruined your reputation and legacy.
Mouinho and Bale. Bale will have been in Kane’s ear last season and, to be fair, who can blame him. As has been said many many time I understand why Kane wants to go….it’s just it disrespectful way he has done it.

You know that moment when you realise that the relationship you’ve been trying to hold together (going on holiday, date nights, etc.) is finally done?

The surprising relief, mixed with excitement for a fresh start and what the future could hold?

That.

Yeah good shout

Just very odd for a shift in behaviour in this way with no influence

It's worse than all of those in my mind, certainly Bale and Modric.

He's been at a much better Spurs than those players. Played in CL Final and PL title races earning £12m-15m a season. He's also gone into full dick mode to force a transfer to another PL side, even more so a hollow oil club. When you factor in his status as a homegrown hero and club legend it just feels worse in my book.

Maybe it'll be easier in time but I'm not so sure.
Modric is still the biggest loss only Xavi and Iniesta were in his class. We have missed him the most. Modric lights up finals and Kane is non existent in the biggest matches of all

On a side note anyone who has watched the training video that came out today, the group looked in really good spirits, plenty of smiles and laughter (especially Sonny who can be heard laughing the whole video!) so this Kane stuff doesn’t appear to be affecting the mood in the camp.

My love of football had died a little bit with this saga.

Kane and Grealish both seemed to represent that football throwback. One of our own. Through the ranks. Mutual love with fans.

And it was all naive bollocks - ruined by vast money from a dodgy regime.

There must be Man City fans of a certain age and experience that this doesn’t sit comfortably with either...
I have to agree, football is becoming the illusion of a contest. But the reality is that more and more, everyday, it’s a chequebook contest.

Berba and Modric were much worse for me. Those two players are what elevated the club to where we are today imo. Yes, it's sad to lose Kane, but I feel like me might be a better all round team with the money re-invested. I know he scored a ton of goals, but I never felt like he dragged us through games like Modric or Bale did.

With respect, Spurs are not going to post a video of them unhappy are they?.
