I think they are pro's and it will be just fine. Kane won't kick off, he will get his head down and all will be forgotten. People said the same about Modric and it was fine. Nuno will welcome him back, reintegrate him and motivate him and build a relationship etc
He has now basically twice publically told his team mates they aren't fit to lace his boots, twice called the chairman a liar, now says that he is disappointed that Nuno didn't clear up the "miscommunication" before ever even speaking to the bloke. It's gone past "kicking off" already.
IIRC there were no stories like this with Modric. Only that he wanted to join Chelsea, we said no. He said fine and got on with it. Levy let him go to RM for his valuation the following summer.
I hope Dier smashes seven bells out of him tbh.
