Are they though?
I feel city are as bad as Kane, they are like the hot girl who teases you all night but has a boyfriend they want you but not enough to put out! They tell there friends they like you keep
U keen!
City don’t even have a striker, they spent 100 m on jack, I just do t think they really want Kane that badly, or they would have bid straight off!

it’s not like the money even matters they can justcrank up the oil pressure, and sort a 160 million underpant sponcor!

Poor old Gabriel Jesus!

I’d still make him stay even of they offered the right amount now.

Don‘t wanna strengthen them and it’s the principle!

Makes me wonder how much Mourinno inflated his ego whilst he was in charge as well.

Always remember Mourinto rudely interrupting Son being given man of match and he saying Harry Kane man of match - thought is was a shitty thing to at time (some on here didn’t agree with me when I posted it) and only added to the thing that Kane thought he was better than the other players

I've been thinking this quite a lot, I think he 100% got into his head, my guess before he was even Spurs manager. This whole episode has shown Harry is most likely as thick as several planks. It would not shock me one bit if Jose was in his ear as much as Levy when he fancied a crack at the Spurs job.

Things seemed to go sour with Kane when Jose left (this isnt Jose bashing btw, more the fact that Kane has possibly been completely manipulated by him)

It seems like Kane was angling for a move after Mourinho's first season though? Hence the 'Gentlemen's agreement'.

City: we’re willing to discuss a fee of 150m

Levy: wonderful news! The price is now 200m

Although I acknowledge this was tongue in cheek I think if city offer 150m levy will jump at it.

He has held out and knows that after the past few weeks Kane has no future at the club.

Wipe your lipstick off your bell and move on to a better squad.

Yeah, no, obviously, yeah.

But his demeanor clearly changed. Wild speculation on my part, but I'm well on board with that Jose totally inflated his ego.

I can definitely agree with that. We saw from the Neville interview that Kane had lapped up Mourinho's toxic masculinity bullshit and was drinking the kool-aid.

I don't think we will see him in a Spurs shirt again.

I think there will be a bid for him coming in the next few days and he will be gone, once we have found sufficient replacements.

Sorry to see him go on these terms but good riddance.
