I actually think we should do a deal at £150m + £10m every goal scored and £5m for every assist for the next 3 seasons at least

Might aswell throw Laporte and Silva in aswell.

Boy are they going to be confused when they arrive and Charlie’s pitched his 2 man tent in his back garden and put his Boy Scout uniform on :p
Lets hope he's got a pop-up tent, otherwise they'll turn up to find him a tangled mess of plastic sheeting and guideropes!
Like a twat cucoon.

The £150m could still be £125m + add ons

Which isnt acceptable. At VERY LEAST £150m cash, hopefully with some add ons

Just a side note, i had never heard of Vlahovic before this summer, I don't even know how to pronounce his name. But if City get him and leave us with Kane I will be fucking fuming

It'll be £150m + £10m in add ons. My prediction.

Look. I'd had a lovely supper, and all I said to my wife was, 'That piece of halibut was good enough for Vlahovic.'

Ideally they pay our price and he goes. Sunday was the most positive I’ve felt about the team in a long time, and Kane was nowhere to be found. If there’s any chance he disrupts what seems like a really good feeling in the squad, I don’t want him in the shirt ever again. He was the best striker in the world last season and we finished 7th. Yes Jose had something to do with it, and maybe it makes the club seem weak if we sell and encourage more players to do similar to what Kane has done, but I don’t care. The level of disrespect he’s shown has made him worthless to me. I don’t want someone like that at the club.

Get rid, go for Vlahovic ASAP, find a better CB than Milenkovic, and try to add a top creative or B2B midfielder, and the squad is better than if Kane stays.

Spurs will say 150 incl add ons - City 130 + add ons. Win - Win for both-saving reputations. We stood for what we believed Kane was worth and City didn't buckle under the pressure and paid what they believed was fair.

It needs to get done.

There will be a forward out there waiting to sign, Im sure of it. All this has been carefully managed for one in and one out.

In a sense I feel bad for Kane. For a decade he's been hugely significant for us and committed to a long term deal in a place where - had the team spent money - we were in position to keep plowing forward. Now a few years pass and we spend either poorly or not at all. By last year we were an utter mess and finished the season very much on the downswing with no real prospects for the immediate future and total uncertainty re: who the manager would be. If you're Kane, and you're 28 with a long history of injuries, it's not unreasonable to think - right then, I've done my part here, but the future is bleak, its time for me to leave while I still can. And realistically, I don't think we even would have begrudged him had he kept everything professional. But now its months later, and he's put himself in a terrible situation. He's seriously damaged his relationship with the fans who have supported him for a decade, and the best case scenario is that he gets a move to a team that's already won everything but the CL, and whose fans will never love him unless he brings them that title. More than that, we've seen time and again how easily a fan base will turn on a gazillion-pound player that doesn't deliver; if he gets hurt a few times in the next few years or United or Chelsea grab the next great talent in a few years, City fans will not stand by him. And 5 years from now when his career is winding down, instead of being a beloved player with a statute outside the new ground, there's a pretty good shot that he'll finish his career unbeloved of either fan base. Not sure that a few winners medals are worth that.

Can anyone remember his reaction to Bale coming in? Was he happy we were showing ambition or was he a bit ambivalent?

I am just trying to wonder if it put his nose out of joint no longer being the biggest star at the club. Not saying it did, but I can’t remember him being as excited as us fans about bale’s return.
