Seriously, what is it we want?

With Poch we pretty much had it all, but we 'needed' trophies and moaned about the lack of them, falling for that old media trick.
With Jose we wanted results, and moaned about the boring football.
With Nuno we want better football, but want instant results before he has had any real chance to mould the team.

Any manager is on a hiding to nothing with us lot unless we both win and play attractive football from day 1 of their tenure.

It's all well and good spouting names like Conte, but where is the £300m quid a year he will demand in new players going to come from?

As many of us said last season, there isn't a manager on the planet who can get this group playing,

There isn't too many managers out there who would have lined up with Holjberg, Dele and Tanguy in midfield at the Emirates in a NLD.

Well, we wanna be free, we wanna be free to do what we wanna do
And we wanna get loaded and we wanna have a good time
And that's what we're gonna do (away baby, let's go)…

He's got a lot of work to do but things can change really quickly in football. 3 games ago Arsenal were an absolute train wreck and Arteta was almost nailed on to be first coach sacked and now media is portraying him as the new Wenger and that this is the start of a new era at Arsenal (I think we made them look a lot better than they are for what its worth but they have at least got a blueprint for what they are trying to do).

Wherever we go from here, Nuno has to be fearless. Would love to see some of the new players and younger players integrated from now on and try to actually forge a new direction. We need players that aren't scared, aren't mentally scarred and are open to taking on new ideas. We just look stuck between old and new, really sketchy pressing and half hearted attitude.
Problem is the guy hasn't had a new idea since Jimenez got injured last year.

I can’t see DL sacking Nuno this soon as it would undermine the whole structure he has just put in place -UNLESS he thinks we are in danger of being in a relegation battle - but then if he does think that who the hell would he employ as the next manager? You would think it would be a safe pair of hands until the whole thing stabilises - god knows who that is …..

If 2008 is the key to his thinking then it would be a highly experienced prem manager ….

He should also go back to the a 352 formation moving forward. That's what he's known for 3+ years and has enough data and reference points to utilize and build on.

We will at least have more than two points from our first eight games this time around…

Well said, should have gone to 3 ATB for Palace, but can understand the reluctance then. But definitely 3 ATB v Mura

The Villa game is huge now. Pressure will be immense on Nuno if we lose. And they’re in good form.

It doesn’t get easier between the Oct & Nov internationals either; 3 of 4 away from the Lane - including trips to W Ham & Everton - and the home game is vs. Man U. An easier run after the Nov internationals, if Nuno makes it that far.

Absolutely no chance he gets the sack after 6 league games. He was the wrong appointment but now he's here he deserves a bit of time. As many of us said last season, there isn't a manager on the planet who can get this group playing, whoever we get next will have the same problem as long as our core consists of Dier, Sanchez, Dele, and for very different reasons Kane.
I don’t actually disagree with this - however - it is down to nuno (or at least it should be) to pick players other than those you mention

I've been advocating for Nuno to be given time because of the circumstances and I always expect angry spurs fans to have enough after a few games but it is concerning when the likes of Carra are questioning him after 6 games

Let’s be honest, we were all happy watching Pochettino’s Spurs play attractive football and finish towards the very top of the table. The trophies were a complaint but barely anyone wanted Poch gone until the league results went to shit for almost an entire calendar year.

It’s not too much to ask that we play some attractive football and win the odd trophy. Arsenal have mastered it, despite being worse than us over the last five or six years they’ve won a handful of trophies to our none. Leicester too.

I would be surprised if Nuno was still here after the break

Bang on this! He isn't a Spurs manager and shouldn't have been hired in the first place.

Ferguson had done incredibly well at Aberdeen he’d the right to be given time with Man.U also he was a good fit for them an Ajax manager trying to get the likes of Joel Ward to play total football was never going to work out.
And so by your rationale and your rationale only Neil Lennon should be a good candidate for the Spurs job
And any silly emojis will only reflect on your comments
It’s a bit silly and I may say childish just to try and make someone go away because they don’t agree with you by bombarding them with stupid emojis. It’s not kindergarten tit for tst
