Absolutely not but im just relaying what i think will happen on Sunday. It happened last season and i think it will happen again.
Don't forget he will have 30,000 there on Thursday expecting a good performance and victory. In, what is very likely to be the best chance of glory and good will this season although Roma will beat us in the final and Jose will love love love it.

If ever there was a prime example of showing the hallmarks of someone that is out of their depth then surely its this.

It does seem that way. I still hope he turns it around but defeat vs Villa with another poor performance will see the fat lady plug in the mic.

AS IOMLS said, Arteta was favourite for the sack 3 weeks ago and Arsenal were being ridiculed left right and centre. Now he's the new incarnarion of Wenger and is a top manager.

That carragher analysis was painful

He didn't even have to work hard to make the whole team look utterly clueless

He called out kane aswell by the way. Wonder if that media angle picks up steam.
that’s one of the reasons i have a lot of time for carra as a pundit, he calls a spade a spade AND backs it up with fact, to the point where it’s indisputable. he’s very fair, objective, gives praise where it’s due and criticizes those worthy - even his pals (Harry). he was always the one standing up for us when the talkshite and sky sports gutter pundits (merson, etc.) were calling us bottlejobs and pretty much telling them to fuck off (as was neville to be fair, when he wasn’t begging for kane and poch to go to united)

if he’s saying it’s bad, it’s really bad.

To be honest that game will count for very very little in the eyes of most fans. He could win 5 nil as far as im concerned and it wont mean jack. Its all about the Villa game on Sunday and anything but a win will probably see him lose his job such has been how bad the manner of defeats have been. Its one thing getting beaten, its another thing to be totally out played, out classed and out fought.

I could see whilst the game was happening the massive space in midfield. Hoe the fuck didn't nuno see it or the assistants see it or the players see it and do something about it when it was still 0-0

Genuinely would like a rationale

But that's a debate for another thread.....

Which in some ways is more worrying than the performance yesterday. Surely any PL manager has to have the courage of their convictions and not react too hastily to fan and media whims?

When Poch starting overthinking things its more understandable. He was 4 years in. But 6 games in?
I know. That might add credence to the belief that he's in over his head. It seemed like he was burnt out after his sojourn at Wolves. Has he recovered?

Lucas didn't say anything nuno didn't say himself.

Nuno admitted in his interview with the BBC that there are a "lot of things wrong" with this Tottenham team right now but pointed towards the start of the season as proof that the team can be far more solid than it is right now.

In his interview with Sky, he hinted slightly more at the players not doing what they were meant to and that his wrong decisions were in who he selected to start.

"The game plan was not good, the decisions were not good so it was not a good day for us," he said.

"I'm going to be honest with you. When you've got a game plan you have to make the right decisions in terms of who you want to put on the pitch to develop that game plan. I take the responsibility because the decisions were not according to the game plan.

"So I'm not going to say individuals, which decisions I didn't do right, but the game plan was not according to the players that were on the pitch."

He added: "We were not strong enough in the midfield and, I'm being very honest here and it's not easy to tell this but the decisions were not according to the game plan.

"So if we wanted to go strong in the midfield, maybe the decisions were not the right ones I made."
If I had to guess, I'd say it sounds like Nuno has been put under a bit of pressure to play Ndombele.

There are 4 current, reasonably prolific posters I could (but won't) name off the top of my head that NEVER have anything positive to say, but are the loudest shouters after a loss.
Just @ me next time lol

Invariably made up but plausible given this is the same squad full of shit arrogant poor attitude players who failed Poch and JM. Of course Levy did fck all about it. Other than promise us great football.

I'm not sure in over his head is the right term. The apparent lack of self belief in himself and his methods is concerning though.

A game developer once said something that no gamer likes hearing but was nail on head stuff. "Gamers have no idea what they want and if we gave them what they said they wanted in a game we'd go bust and sell no games". Shit analogy but if he is already questioning himself and his decisions after 6 league games, it doesn't bode well for his future.
