Every club will try and take us for a ride in future if we get that reputation. Player wants to come so we bide our time, sure it will be done ready for Korea in any case.

I completely agree with our hard stance negotiating with boro. But more than any other signing I want him to have as much time with Conte in preseason as possible. He's got to put a lot of work in to get up to the rest of the squad's standards.

Yep. Let's see how this plays out now. We feel Gibson is taking the piss. We are already at a fee quite a bit higher than Forest were prepared to pay and we won't go any more.

Gibson's stubbornness could well cost him a few mil here. FP has been instructed to progress his other options.

Surviving was getting to the end of season with Doherty and Emerson (mainly Emerson) next season is massive we can’t just have a position where we are weak, I like Emerson but he’s not good enough for this conte system

Probably the way forward, hope we get him! I feel he could be great for us.

Noone else seems to be in for him, so unless they now want to keep him or send him out on loan we can just sit tight.

Doherty can start the first few games while Spence gets up to speed.
