After the Kulu/Benta winter window I have faith that whenever the club miss out on targets there are quality backups.

Weird feeling like there are plans in place and we are being well run from a transfer perspective.

Paqueta and testing the waters with Maddison maybe then. It’s been a good window either way.
No chance Leicester sell Maddison. Barnes is injured and Rodgers has said multiple times he's not for sale. Nit only that but conte doesn't sound convinced and he doesn't really fit our system.

I'm not quite sure why people are so hung up on it when there's literally nothing that suggests it's on.

Right now I'm so thrilled that we have done 90% of our business already. Imagine if Zaniolo was planned as signing number 2-3-ish ? ... what a stressful month august would be. Like we have experienced many times before.

I mean WLB said we were gonna have new talks this week and we need to move a few out. It’s lunch time on Monday surely those talks haven’t happened.

Hopefully we move on now. AC choice or not, it’s time for Levy to veto this deal and move for Maddison.
If Levy is struggling to green light only 50m for this guy I have no clue why he’d suddenly be fine with paying 15-20m more for Maddison, who Leicester will not exactly be overjoyed at selling.

I am really relaxed about it. I can see the need of one more offensive player, but I honestly feel the most important gaps has been filled and we are good to go, this would be a very nice bonus.

Not surprised at all that the italians are tough to deal with, especially when its about one of their more important players.

If it doesn't happen because of whatever the sticking point is I suppose it boils down to whether AC accepts our position on it or not.
If he doesn't accept our stance on whatever is causing the issue then there's a problem, if he agrees with it then it's fine.

what gives me comfort for likes of these things is we now have FP handling a lot of negotiations and suspect he will be perhaps more honest / open with Conte than levy may have been with previous managers regarding why a deal couldn't be done.

This all boils down to the fans! If he leaves ther will be blood on the Capitale at the Rome.admin! Forget it, move on!

We do not need to move players out to bring others in. As I've said before we are actively trying to do both and whichever happens first happens.

Zaniolo deal is as I posted Friday. Nothing has changed over the weekend. I have a pretty good track on this one.
