You've had months to get used to how things are, you've had overnight to get your head around the game so it'd be nice if you and anyone else who's plastic 'anger' is so great, could at least post like adults and leave the vitriol out.
Oh I'm used to it, but every week we are getting to new lows.

stuck stubbornly to systems that don’t work whilst expensive players bought for him sit on the bench. And then he asks for fans to support the team, and they do, and they watch as a team goes out in a must win game with no intensity, no attacking plan, and muster two shots on target. In a game we have to win.
This is another myth around here. In our rage , we start to believe our players aren't trying. I reckon they put in a shiftiest night(they don't always, true) but the huge problem is our attackers have turned into carthorses from last seasons thoroughbreds. No one could have predicted that.

Last 3 games, yes we conceded a goal in games, but we'd expect our brilliant forwards to score...but they are simply not doing it.

It doesn’t matter what personnel we had on the pitch when there positioning was in attack. PEH and Skipp were not sitting deep waiting to break up play, they were attacking the box.

This is how we were playing at the time

When Origi hit the post, we had both Lenglet and Sanchez covering and they still almost scored a goal. 30 extra minutes and a single CB to cover would’ve been suicide IMO.

Everyone is so emotional and angry about the result and I get that but you have to consider how we were actually positioned on the pitch.
I get what you're saying, but you have committed sacrilege by putting our entire team in Arsenal shirts 🤔....

..and here is the issue. These players are in appalling form. They are playing NOW way below CL level. The problem is so many on here have last season judgements of players and I include the management in that.

Its a question of opening your eyes to see who is contributing, not judging performances on reputation.
The problem is we don't know if poor form is linked to Conte's training & what he's telling them to do in games or if they're just out of form. A new manager may get more out of them or play Danjuma/Richi more if the starters aren't working

No it’s not.

You’re down to 10 men, if by some Miracle you score in that last 8 mins because you threw the kitchen sink at it, you’re in for another 30+ mins of football and that’s another 30+ mins for them to score on the counter.

I can understand everyone’s frustrations but you don’t just gung-ho the approach to the game simply because you have nothing to lose. You still have to keep tactical balance in mind or you’re placing a huge risk on the game anyway.
We still had subs left and could have adjusted to a more balanced defence if we'd got to ET. Most clubs are happy about the five subs because it means you can adjust multiple times in game.

If that’s the case, why couldn’t we bring on Sanchez AND Danjuma and sacrificed another player on the pitch?

We already had Son, Kane, Kulusevski, Richy attacking the box. There should be no need for a 5th. Not at the risk of throwing the game away on a single counter attack.
Ok, but he took Kulusevski off mate. So we only had three of them.

I want Conte out.

Whatever X factor he had at other clubs, he's not providing it here. The players look uninspired, the fans are uninspired, and Conte neither looks inspired or is inspiring the players to perform.

Feels like the end. We know it, Conte knows it. Just need Levy to do what Levy is best at and pull the trigger.

Our attackers aren't the problem & haven't turned into carthorses. They're being given nothing to feed off. We had no creativity against a team who knew nil nil was good enough. We had to score a goal & picked 8 defensive players

Would have been fine by me, but we didn't. We only made the Sanchez sub and Danjuma never came on.

My argument isn’t that we shouldn’t have brought Danjuma on at all, it’s that we had no choice but to bring on Sanchez to replace Romero and not another attacker instead. We needed 2 CB’s to cover seems as Davies and Porro were pushed up to put crosses in and overload the wings.

Sarr 100% should’ve been picked with Skipp, they did very well at the San Siri and it’s shocking that PEH makes the team because he runs around a lot. He offers a bit more close to the box but it’s nowhere near enough. Sarr is effective all over the pitch.

Ok, but he took Kulusevski off mate. So we only had three of them.

We had Davies and Porro playing the wings and PEH, Skipp pushing their 18 yard area. We definitely did not need to replace Kulu with Danjuma at the detriment of our ability to defend a counter.

What if this is the painful rebuild? What if we are in the middle of the project?

No, I don't think so either, but it does make me laugh when people talk about needing to take a step back to move forward "like Arsenal". We can take a step back as long as we play well and create loads of chances.

I think if Conte had managed the PR aspect of things better, then maybe there would be more sympathy. He's had a genuinely shitty year but the feeling that he is doing us a favour has really not helped his cause.

Time for a reset - sort out the Paratici situation, then go and get a coach that fits what we want to be. We can then instill an ethos into the club where the manager is a part of that, not the almighty saviour coming to "fix" us.

Can only see things dropping off even more this season now. The sooner we move on, the better.
