I predicted this months ago, probably because it's been our MO for 2 decades. All the attention on the manager and everyone else gets a free pass once again.

As always.

Example, Players are getting a free ride for the exact same thing we’re hanging Conte for, going to the press with their problems.

This is a cowardly move on both parts, but it worse from the players as it just screams cry baby mentality.

This is just not true though. There is a lot of scrutiny on Levy and the ownership. There is also a lot of scrutiny on the squad and this is evident at matches where particular players that are out of favour amongst the fanbase get supported less than others (Dier and Emerson have been booed/jeered this season). Just because Conte is rightly getting called out and is about to be sacked does not mean this is not the case. There will be enormous pressure on Levy to get the next appointment right. But at the moment its the manager who is in the headlines (all his own doing) and that's just how it is.
There was enormous pressure to get the last 2 right after Jose, yet here we are.

I think he should go I agree with what he’s said but you know what he’s running back to Italy at every chance it’s not good for anyone doesn’t feel like he wants to be here either so let’s just put the dog out of its misery.

The issue is that there is not one party here without fault. Club, Board, Vision, MO, Hierarchy, players, coaching staff, manager and chairman.
But only potentially 2 of those will change.

Just give it to poch until the end of the season short term and laugh it off when that doesn’t work then we can give it to the new up and coming fancy coach de zerbi and I will see you all again in 18/24 months

Yes agreed. The last three appointments have been "the most important in the recent history of the club" and "have to be got right" but we haven't. We haven't even got our selection process right for one of those searches.

He’s been given a few days off like all the squad, no harm in him going to Italy?

Poch and Tuchel are both available. Aside from Amorim, who I think would be a huge risk, I’m not sure who else we would be targeting.
Aside from Amorim there are quite a few of other linked managers are still in a job and so unavailable until the summer: De Zerbi, Postecoglu, Frank, Kompany, etc.

Also think there's a decent chance that some of Enrique, Tuchel, Poch, etc wouldn't want to take over at this stage of the season and would prefer to start fresh with a pre-season rather than being rushed in during difficult circumstances.

Regardless of

Seen off yet another manager. We've seen bang average players outlast 4 coaches, it's madness
Are they bang average or just playing within themselves? They can clearly compete v City as we have seen multiple times, so it's not an ability thing overall. It's the mentality that's the issue.

The fanbase has shown that it has no desire to do the relentless organised protest in huge numbers that it would take to make levy consider going and I include myself in that so I'm not going to moan about others.

So what else is there? If you accept he isn't going anywhere then all we can do is encourage him to make smart choices and hope for small wins along the way.

I don't see any alternative?

Not like it's an international break and his family are in Italy? He went back before this because he was recovering from surgery. I know he has his faults, but this isn't a stick to beat him with IMO.

Protests won't matter mate. Levy responds to media pressure more than he ever will a few banners.

I'm not talking about Harry and son I'm talking about the likes of Dier and Sanchez who really shouldnt be at the club. Also we've had multiple managers not able to fix the mentality so where does it stem from

I mean he could have dropped them...
Drop them for who exactly? Nobody trusts our squad defenders and they're apparently rubbish, our midfield options are severely limited due to the Bentancur and Bissouma being injured, Perisic was in fact dropped for Davies whilst Sessegnon is injured, Porro and Emerson have rotated. Kane will never be dropped, Son won't be dropped, so that leaves Richarlison, Kuklusevski, Moura and Danjuma. Richarlison is now injured, so take him out of it.

Who realistically do you drop and for who? Those who came in v Sheffield United were shocking. We can't trust the squad players, so we're stuck with what we have.
