We all need to pull together. Everyone has to step up to ensure the highest possible finish for our Club and amazing, loyal supporters.
Et tu, Daniel?

The Stellini thing is unusual, but could be a shrewd temporary move. He likely has a different relationship with the players than Antonio had, so between him and Mase it could be as simple as freshening it up a bit in training, the odd arm around the shoulder and removing some tactical shackles.

Thanks Mr Conte for getting us on some semblance of the right track by securing us champions league football this season and leaving us in a decent position now to secure it for next season. You’ve left us in a better place than you found us in, for sure. Thanks also for calling out the ownership, and a certain Mr Levy, on their momentum-killing meddling in football affairs - sorry it ended this way after the great signs of promise at the end of last season turned into broken promises from said people during the summer.
Good luck.

Pretty crazy Conte isn’t even mentioned in the press release. Even Jose got a respectful send off. Was it that bad internally?
He is mentioned: "We can announce that Head Coach Antonio Conte has left the Club by mutual agreement. We achieved Champions League qualification in Antonio’s first season at the Club. We thank Antonio for his contribution and wish him well for the future."

Nah, it's a crazy decision brought on by the fact that our board have no idea what they want as a collective. I keep hearing "perhaps we are waiting until the summer because who we want is currently employed". Nope we just don't know what we are doing. We've been speaking to Naglesmann but not everyone is convinced. Poch has his backers, Galardo the same but they can't decide between them. That is fundamentally because there is no mission statement as to what we are and who as a club we want to be.

I'm sure the Levy apologists will be along shortly to tell me how I've got it wrong, but I haven't. It genuinely is the blind leading the blind.

Yeah I have no faith in levy/board or whoever getting the next appointment right

Not surprising really!

Oh joy. I would have thought they could all get behind Levy's mission statement from a couple of years ago (which you imagine they all would have agreed upon). I know they ignored it then, but perhaps they should read it again and follow it this time.

Optimistic rating!

Fair enough. You are privy to more info than me, so if this is the case then my attempt at optimism is misplaced.

Cluster fuck as always, all todays news does is send out a message that we’re a shambles behind the scenes.

You sound surprised. It's not like we haven't been saying this for a while now is it. Conte was gone on Friday, and then 3 days later they come out with Mason and Stellinni rubbish, because they are once again caught off guard? Do me a favour this has been playing out for weeks/months. It's the Nuno saga all over again. If he put a fraction of the planning he puts in place for his building projects into the football side of things we'd be set. Instead he just wings it all with a hundred different voices chirping away in his ear.

Financial genius, and an absolute clown of a football chairman.

Well, that's one down. Just need to get rid of Paratici and then Levy before the re-set starts. This interim manager thing is pathetic and typical of Levy's total inability to lead. Look at Bayern: pro-active. Us? Stumbling about in the dark, hoping to drunkenly grope a 10.

I’ve been out of touch the last couple weeks due to travel but I was stunned when I read about Conte’s diatribe last week. I thought “what a shit bag” and wanted him gone ASAP. I wanted to hear he was grabbed by the throat and run through the door head first on his way out. He instantly became a cancer and might have been one even before that if that kinda shit was in his head. Good riddance and fuck that asshole.

Yea very unusual scenario.

I don’t think Conte has any serious or long term health issues I think after the op he had he should be ok now however he has had one hell of a tough year with the death of 3 friends and then an emergency gallbladder removal.

Not his fault but I doubt he’s been providing the team with much good energy and it was very interesting that every time Conte went away we played the same system allbeit slightly more proactive and we got some really good results and much better performances.

As soon as conte was about to come back or was back our form and performances fell off a cliff again.

Add to that conte’s outburst in the presser last week and it’s obvious that was that for him.

The Stellini staying on with Mason actually makes sense because it’s less pressure and responsibility for Mason and it’s a continuation of what the players know but with more positive energy.

Also Stellini and the other staff will also be contracted until the ends of this season so it’s clear all round to keep them on until summer and no huge benefit to rip them all out now anyway.

The absolute KEY 🔑 now is to have our managerial target signed and tied up I’d say before our next home game ideally, we announce it and then for the remaining 9 games the players and crowd give their all to get us top4 again whilst the new manager watches the games and plans for the summer and pre-season.

Thank you Conte for your efforts, go rest up and spend time with your family, shame it didn’t work out but the experiment was worth a try.

Grazie and buona fortuna Antonio 🇮🇹
No need to rush announcing the permanent manager just yet. I'd rather they take their time and get the right person in. Ideally by the end of April I'd say.

You'd think that someone so intelligent and so careful with finances would ensure that a footballing model is in place to ensure risk is minimised when making big footballing decisions and it meant the club always had continuation.

Coach A is fired, similar coaches are already on a list as they have been tracked.

Saves money, time, resources etc. Less chance of managerial appontments going wrong, less chance of wasting money on players the next coach can't fit into his system.

Its truly baffling.

This is crushing to read, not that any of it is a surprise. Impossible to muster any hope for the club going forward until they go. What a dreadful situation to be in as a fan.
