Genuinely wondering, as an American I’ll be honest, why anyone would attend this match in their right mind.
Only three options in my opinion - stay home completely and swallow the ticket, go to the ground and publicly burn the ticket and then go home, or attend the match for a planned walk out after your voice is gone from Levy Out chants.
Well because alot of people have already dropped £60+ on it and moneys quite tight over in these parts atm.

Also as shite as the team is it'd quite nice going and meeting your friends for a drink. Spurs is only part of the day.

Too soon to start this isn't it?

My tickets are still available to buy on the exchange, trouble is so are thousands of other peoples. Got to be quite a few man utd fans buying up tickets in our ends I think. Hope no fights break out as a result.
Fights? I would just expect them to be sorry for us.

1) Sell it if money is tight
2) Don’t go and buy and drink alcohol if money is tight. Can’t think of an easier place in someone’s budget to save money.
3) Meet your friends in the comfort of your own home and play some board games or get outside and play some footy together and score more goals than Spurs.
4) You only get so many hours in life so why waste it at a football match for a chairman and players that don’t deserve it? It is entertainment at the end of the day. When it ceases to be entertaining, your attention and time should be elsewhere like family and things that matter more.

I know what you mean mate. However, I also understand that there’s still a fair few Spurs fans who haven’t seen the ground yet, backlog of Covid people coming from overseas, a family going there and fans who just couldn’t do it with it being the routine thing.

I appreciate that there are numerous reasons etc but for me I need to follow through with my words and join in with protesting. Others will eventually join, I’ve been very reluctant until recently.

Also would like to make the point that others may protest inside the ground. I’ve decided to just leave it to outside the ground and go out afterwards with my missus who has boycotted the games since the World Cup.

Going to the Cinema on Thursday night. The new Evil dead is supposed to be great!

Football takes a back seat now, zero point in watching us, we’re wank.

This is such a strange take from someone who doesn't even live in the same country. I wouldn't dream of telling a New York Giants fan what to do with their ticket let alone in such a patronising 5 point plan.

There'd about 5K tickets on the exchange alone today, its very hard to sell them.

There's also a happy middle ground between not wanting to spunk £70 and saving money on a couple of beers.

And lastly as much as a buzz as playing board games in my living room with my friends would be I don't think it'll be quite the same as watching a live football game with 50,000 people.

Its great if you would do those things but being so condescending about it is very strange.

Fair play to those who are going.
personally I won’t be spending another penny on the club this season.
If you’re there sign loud for Harry Kane (and danjuma)

Well, lets see what Mason can do with these players  - I can't us winning but maybe we'll string together 5 consecutive passes?

I would very entertained watching this starting 11 below

Forster
Tanganga - Romero - Lenglet - Davies
Skipp
Deki ------- Sarr
Danjuma - Kane - Richarlison

What do NYG fans have to do with it? We are both Spurs fans at the end of the day. Not seeking to be patronizing whatsoever, only seeking to be rational about it. but on the other hand, your complaints of money being tight and then talking about going to a football match and drinking beer in the same breath is ludicrous and breathtakingly stupid.

Tickets in the exchange? Can’t you just third party sell them?

Finally, as a Spurs fan, what buzz are you going to get at a match against Manchester United in a toxic, booing environment with 50k other fans? I guess the buzz you’re getting from your money you’re wasting on pints…

If Pochettino to Chelsea is announced before the game and Utd gets an early goal I genuinely fear what the atmosphere will be like inside the stadium.

It would’ve been with Stellini still there but now Mason is in charge it’ll soften out the atmosphere just enough to keep it from being pitchforks for levy, as usual he makes just enough of a change in just enough time to keep just enough pressure off him so he is able to carry on.

So what kind of line up will Mason go with then?

He usually likes 4-2-3-1, could it be something like:

Forster

Tanganga
Romero
Lenglet
Davies

PEH
Skipp

Richarlison
Kulusevski or Danjuma
Son

Kane

Still don't think we would win given current mentality and confidence levels, but agree gives some other players a shot and tanganga and Davies far more likely to be comfortable at full back.

Danjuma is just an obvious one, why he keeps getting benched is a mystery.
