Quite poignant that our back 4 has been as mobile as the Titanic all season and we’re now sinking down the league like the titanic

So we're now a point behind Brighton and they've got 2 games in hand. No chance we're going to gain positions this season. Eighth is looking the most likely final position for us now.

I never thought I’d be happy at not getting any European football but we really do need a complete reset with as few distractions as possible. What a state we are in
Yeah gonna be a boring year. Fighting for 5th to 8th place. Targeting a cup that City invariably win anyway lol

8th isn’t looking most likely

Look at Villas remaining fixtures.
We should get 7th and Europa conference league

I think we only really benefit from this if we can sell a few fringe players.

I just want Europe for those extra weekday games to watch. If we can get back to playing attractive football it will be worth it. We have a big enough squad and it will be good to keep our consistent run of European qualification going.

I'd like any Europe to keep our run going and to watch us twice a week if we are going to have a new manager in place who gets us trying to play decent football but if we finish 8th then that is where we deserve to finish after the mess we've got ourselves in and hopefully it will be a wake up call.

No Europe in a new manager's first season is a good thing IMO. Gives him 1 game a week and more time on the training ground to properly install his methods & ideas

Think it could easily come down to our game at their place. If they win that and beat Wolves it's not hard to see that being enough to finish above us, even if they lose the other 2.

Nah what we really need is some nice, early qualifying European fixtures in the middle of pre-season, ideally in the most awkward places possible like Moldova and Liechtenstein.

Let's see what this new guy is really made of...

Whilst having to bring son and Kane on to rescue the game thereby tiring them out unnecessarily! It’s like people haven’t watched any of our European games in these competitions!

Not having the extra games is a good thing. People complain we never take the cup competitions seriously enough. If playing No Europe increases the chance of winning a domestic cup then I’m all for that. Plus look at teams this season like newcastle and Brighton who it has helped with it being so long. Next year the league is going to be as competitive as it has ever been and we are going to need that preparation time to be as good as we can be.
