Terrible in the second half once they’d figured out the switch to 4-4-2.

This gets said every time we lose to any semi-decent team. Utterly ridiculous, knee-jerk thing to say.
It’s only ridiculous because you’re stuck in the past. Right now in May of 2023 we are a mid table club with no manager. Our best player is going to leave. we have no director of football. We have no direction, and a clown leading us. The blind leading the blind, or should I say the bald leading the bald.

We are shit. We are worthless. We are the easily the most disappointing club in Premier League this season.

I cannot feel anything but deep pain and despair when talking about Spurs.

No europe next season at all is a shame :(

Think it's a good thing personally.

No going to places like Moldova on a Thursday night and the new manager gets more time on the training pitch (god knows the players need it)

Levy and the club don't deserve European football either.

Its not been about the managers - its been about the players.

Levy does not get that.

Having said that, what is done, is done.

We move forward. New manager. New day. Hope springs eternal.
Why do we have such a haphazard weak squad? could it be no direction, no ambition, hiring and firing managers, not backing them? The problem us much greater than players and won’t be fixed under current ownership, continued patching up over the summer, nothing changes.

This could’ve been avoided. It was very clear 5 months ago that Conte wasn’t happy and had no intention of signing a new contract. He couldn’t be arsed with it. The fact that we didn’t take control of that situation at the time has directly led to today. All on Levy. It’s not hindsight, it was obvious.
The lack of succession planning for both the manager and DoF roles is gross negligence. Even if you know nothing about football, any sensible CEO would have plans for both those eventualities. Even before Conte implode and Paratici's legal troubles began.

We could still end up in the ECL despite being a joke team. Work that one out. Our next manager has an absolutely mammoth task ahead of him. I genuinely think we will be fighting for top half next season.

Yep. Investing £45m on a player *specifically* for a manager who could’ve rightly been sacked in January was lunacy. Made even worse by the fact that the very same player is likely going to be made redundant by the system our new manager plays.

Absolutely, if anyone doubts they were good managers what we are seeing now proves that.
Indeed as boring as it was I still think we'd be cemented into Europa and mathematically still in with a shout for CL if Conte was still here. Should have kept him and sorted his replacement whilst he was still in situ.

What a disgrace. How does Ben Davies not know to keep Mbeumo on his right foot?
What is Sanchez doing playing for a premier league team, when he's not good enough for the Championship? The guy can't control the ball and stumbles around looking lost.
What is Skipp doing running across his own box?
With minutes to go, what the heck are they doing passing the ball round slowly at the back, can they not work out we needed to score twice (before they gifted Mbeumo another goal by not dropping once we lost the ball.
Son literally jogs around and has no genuine desire to win the ball, Bissouma can't beat a man and his passing is generally sideways or backwards, and he doesn't marshall the centre of the pitch and goes wondering off out wide. Richarlison needs to be sold asap. Kulu has just lost it.
But most of all, this game kept the door open for European football and we played like we were midtable and as if the game meant nothing. Such a joke.

Guys don’t stress yourselves out on the talk about it being Kane’s last game. If it is then so be it. We had the same feeling when we lost both Bale and Modric……..and we can even go as far back as Berba. I’m not saying it wouldn’t hurt if we lost him but there’s always the next player that will come in and be the main man.
The problem is the board. Unless there’s some drastic changes at the top, we will always find ourselves in this position.
