Stokes and or/Root on I think.

get Mo off, he's got us a wicket, we could do without him leaking runs.
Yeah but he does keep producing one that turns and beats the bat,I think under previous regimes he gets pulled but not this one…… it’s about taking wickets

that's true. it's getting too nervy for me, 120 odd to win and only 5 down my money is well and truly on them.

I feel your pain, one more wicket just one more and I think we’re into the tail and an end open for Stokes to bang a few in short

Stokes is a great captain, but is seems all he is is a captain now. It's as if England are playing with 10 men and one of them can't spin it because he hasn't bowled a red ball in over a year?

Also, if you're gonna ask for a flat, nothing pitch, surely 3 80-85mph bowlers of similar ilk isn't the way to go?

This will take something miraculous for Australia not to win and for all the exciting Bazzball stuff, England have snatched defeat from a win. I don't mind the declaration on the 1st day, I get that. But the batting in the 2nd innings was just unacceptable. Too many gave their wickets away playing poor shots. Robinson knuckled down and scored 30 odd at a decent strike rate. Wouldn't have hurt to leave Australia needing 300+ even if they only had one day to win. I get this we are here to entertain stuff, but I'd rather this was 0-0 or 1-0 England rather than a defeat. I don't find losing entertaining, we'll have Ange's Spurs for that.

game is there for the aussies now. then again, khawaja is the key, like porridge left in the bowl a few hours after you've eaten the rest of it, fucking limpet.

The only thing that can save England, is a special, special bowling performance from nowhere. Stokes or Broad most probable candidates for that. 38 overs to go and Aussies are on 59 now. So we'll have 21 overs until a new ball. If they're 6 or 7 down with only 40 odd runs scored, then it could be an interesting finale. But I do not hold my breath and as I said above, it feels as if being inflexible in what is a great approach with "Bazzball" has cost England a defeat.

Real shame because Stokes is our talisman - for him not to be bowling in this type of situation is huge
