If there's negligible difference in recouping money for PEH and outlay for Gallagher then can see the appeal.
Gallagher was good at Palace, how would people feel if going for HG in this area meant we got the two CB’s we are heavily linked with?
Yeah a fair point. Would be happy with either tbh.I would be fine with that but just sign Alex Scott as the HG midfielder instead.
Yeah regardless of whether he's a good fit or not I would be very surprised if ended up here.I’m convinced CG has already come out and said he’d be staying at Chelsea this season coming. I don’t see this one happening.
They'll be bringing in Caicedo mind.Yeah regardless of whether he's a good fit or not I would be very surprised if ended up here.
Chelsea's midfield options are already threadbare now that they've lost Kante, Kovacic and Mount. According to Transfermarkt this is their entire midfield:

Two (talented) 19 year olds + Enzo and Gallagher. Not sure they can afford to get rid of him even if they make some signings - they need bodies and he's homegrown to boot.
Then you add in the size of the fee, the Spurs/Chelsea rivalry and whether Poch even wants to sell him or he wants to leave. Far too many potential barriers IMO.
I am not sure this is true…..Gallas? Poyet?, Cudicing? Suggest not. Chelsea in recent history haven’t really taken us as seriously as we did them. They hate us, but losing players that they deem not fit with them doe not bother them as much as us almost selling Modric to them….. West ham for us is similar…. Defoe, Carrick to SPurs and they were hated…..spurs players to them and we couldn’t care less…. I feel Gallagher wouldn’t be too concerned with this…and I doubt the backlash for him would be that high. Definitely not Campbell life damaging for decades. It would be a big step for any Spurs/Chelsea player to switch sides. If Connor Gallagher joined us, he would be detested and abused by Chelsea fans for the rest of his career. Likewise if any of ours joined them.
Relationship at board level may be better with Abramovich gone, but the level of vitriol between both fan bases is probably as high as it has ever been.
Not if they don't pony up they won't, and Brighton want an awful lot of money for him. They'll be bringing in Caicedo mind.
I don't think Chelsea ever have to worry about squad depth. They can probably bring in about 5 midfielders in the space of a week.Yeah regardless of whether he's a good fit or not I would be very surprised if ended up here.

A deal will be struck of that i'm fairly certain and equally wouldn't surprise me if we see Gallagher in Brighton colours next season either. Not if they don't pony up they won't, and Brighton want an awful lot of money for him.
Yeah true, but even then it's pretty thin IMO. Losing 3 and bringing in 1.They'll be bringing in Caicedo mind.
He a polar opposite player to McGregor.Would be very worried if he was bought to play as the 6 and I don’t actually think he would be, but IMO he plays very similarly to Callum McGregor who was Ange’s 6 in Celtic.
Wishful thinking...but not with absolutely zero foundation (near there though). We have been linked in the past, so you never knowI've seen Kamada's name mentioned a few times.
Has there been a link or is it just wishful thinking because he's without a club?
