I had to let my dogs out for a piss for the first time today, missed 5 mins of refreshes. What have I missed and how many times has it been on/off??
Try Charlie not Harry
German media lining up a whole host of reasons / excuses to use if the deal ultimately doesn’t get completed. Couldn’t possibly be that he has changed his mind so must be mysterious late bid by other club or Levy making final unreasonable demands on the financial sideIf it really was Kane and The club sorting out a few last bits, then why has nearly every media outlet said he’s hesitating. Where’s that narrative coke from? Surely someone has put that out there - but there’s no purpose to it.
Not so easy, they are all in and know they can't find a better fit to replace Lewandowski. They need to give it everything they've got as they know it is now or never for Kane to join them as they would be way down the pecking order in we months if he were on a freeI was thinking that, if your paying around the £100M mark, and you get the slightest feeling they wont be 100% comitted to you, surely you would pull the plug straight away
News is coming from Germany.
No he doesn't.
If he turns down Munich and an English club come in with a similar bid I can’t see Levy turning it down. There’s no way the business is going to let a £100m asset run down. Levy will use the excuse he was forced into it…What usually happens is a gazumping as we all know ala Willian to Chelsea and Sissoko to us. Have a feeling this will get even more interesting. If Kane needs a narrative to justify turning down Bayern having previously indicated willingness to join, all that needs to happen is for one or two of the big English clubs to come in and his people can then say the picture is completely changed with the PL goal record in sight etc... even if Levy doesn't accept an English bid, Kane can use that as the reason to see out his contract and then decide what he wants to do at the end of the season. He holds the ace card
This thread feels like it's been on narrative coke for a while now.If it really was Kane and The club sorting out a few last bits, then why has nearly every media outlet said he’s hesitating. Where’s that narrative coke from?
Spurs Community does not condone the use of illegal substances. Even in these difficult times. Just say no, kids.Try Charlie not Harry
Says Kane, not which one.
Thomas Tuchel is playing a crucial role in convincing Harry Kane to consider a move to Bavaria. According to The Athletic, Thomas Tuchel held productive talks with Kane. The English forward is fine with moving to Munich after getting an overview of Tuchel’s plans for him at the club.
Because everything else about this saga screams “nice and easy!”Either way you'd expect it to be ironed out pretty quick and then...
Son.What a disaster. If Harry leaves, who plays on Sunday? Richy is injured!
And I thought the media was bad during the windows when modric and bale left...
Admittedly I've been one of the worst. I'm not turning on Kane per se, and I get why he wants to leave, but he made this bed, so he should lie it in quickly. Why are people turning on Harry now? Have I missed something?
Can't see it. Levy would want much more money from a PL club and there would be another week or two of negotiations which Harry clearly doesn't want. Plus there really aren't any obvious PL clubs this window that would pay 120m when they could wait a year and get him on a free.If he turns down Munich and an English club come in with a similar bid I can’t see Levy turning it down. There’s no way the business is going to let a £100m asset run down. Levy will use the excuse he was forced into it…
Surely that kind of thing couldn't be the stumbling block could it?
Why then all the talk of Kane leaning towards staying after the offer came in?
Feel like those types of things would be a formality not a huge issue
