Given the money isn’t even in our account yet and the deal hasn’t been completed I think getting annoyed about signing the sort of players you suggest (when recent signings semi-refute it) is a little premature. I get the frustration at Kane being sold but there is a need to detect whether things being said by ITKs are opinion or not.

This is what I was getting at

I’ll be watching the game on Sunday with sadness, rather than the optimism I had. Hopefully a good performance will bring the hope back.

Seriously though, what's happened to Fati? I thought he was the great Spanish hope and their youngest ever scorer in an International game.

I came to terms with him leaving weeks/months ago. Always had hope he’d stay.
The thing that really irks me, and why I’m done now, is why sell him today? Two days before our first game! We could have just got this done weeks ago and tried to replace him. He’s always clinging on to the last million whilst leaving our managers totally in the sxxt. Sorry to mention them, but Arsenal went out and got their business done. We’re still scrambling around.

I know folks are getting all excited about him but he's a kid who has had one good season in the Belgian league. Now if you tell me we are getting him for 30ish and we are going to throw the other 60 mil on a top drawer CB I could get round it because we are looking to improve that starting XI. Looking more likely though that it will be a journey man CB from Torino and a player Barca are desperate to get out because they can't register players if they don't.
I don't mind Orban, but that Torino lad in at CB would be so disappointing given the funds we've just come into

Kane although a generational talent has pushed for this move for 2+ years now. He’s always been a model professional but the city debacle felt like he was just going through the motions with us last few years. By all accounts in media and ITK there was nothing the club could do to convince him to stay and sign a new deal.

what about all the media reports he was leaning to stay? And the club were furious with him?

We’re in a year where West Ham have won a trophy, Kane will win a trophy in another teams colours, Poch could win something at Chelsea as Arsenal win the league and we return to mid table mediocrity

Levy has blood on his hands
Yeah I think "blood on his hands" is a little hyperbolic.

Fati & Schuurs, got to hope Ange is a miracle worker if they are the two we bring in. Both decent players, but they're just that.
Fati feeks like a huge gamble given his injury issues and Schurrs seems to have talent but still has question marks over him.

Both have the potential to be very good signings long term if they develop but think they could also easily be flops.

Not a very inspiring use of the Kane money if that's the path we go down. Think we could be a lot more ambitious in both positions.

I'm still surprised Kane has decided to go now rather than on a free next year. Such a shame. If he's gone, I wish him the best of luck and will keep an eye out for how he's getting on. Absolute worldie of a player who has worked relentlessly to get to this level.

Levy can go fuck himself. An historic loser and strategic clown that we're lumbered with for a generation. A needy little prick who loves the false tough-guy reputation, and hanging around with elite sports men in the canteen to look cool. If Spurs continue the slide of recent seasons, at least we have the shadenfreud of that **** being responsible for the ongoing shitshow.

Thanks for the memories H, its been a pleasure and privilege.

I don't want no shirking, go out and spend every penny on whoever Ange and the recruitment team want as replacement/reinforcements and do it quickly.

We now have to be ruthless.

Hello everyone - I lurk occasionally and chat to the mods and other ITK 👀
All is with Kane camp now nothing we can do.
not doing Q&A either
Hope everyone is well and Ange will be great 👍
One GOAT departs and another returns!

Good to see you’re still around these parts.

Because I’m not claiming the sky is falling?

A player who didn’t want to be here has left. We’ve got a manager who wants to build something, who clearly knows what he wants. We’ll be fine.
Yet we have no striker to start the season?
