Can we please stop with the ‘Bi-polar’ references. That is a serious mental health issue and it doesn’t need to be continually thrown at our fans as some sort of insult. For the record I will never judge a Spurs fan for their reactions to how things are going. I won’t always agree but this club is more than just football for many people, myself included so who am I to dismiss their feelings.
It’s not an insult by any means, it’s an analogy that’s used quite often in every day life. People also use depression and anxiety as an analogy. For lack of a better term. Someone else did the same when they referenced “depressed” in their post. But If there is one, please let me know and I’ll gladly change my own post referencing this.
It doesn’t take away from the importance of true mental health problems, and the need to address these problems in society. I suffer from panic disorder myself, so I understand the importance of it but I’m also willing to concede that someone might say they have anxiety about an upcoming interview for example, when I know they really mean they’re just anxious.
