Hopefully from only playing once a week we've got the legs on them to nick it. I knew from the Newcastle game they weren't going to be pushovers even down to ten.

Still wouldn't consider it a disaster if we don't win, but it would be great to get the points on the board.

Ange needs to give them a right talking to. It feels like we are playing with fear, scared to lose against 10 men. It happened after we got the goal, we stopped trying for five minutes or so, stopped making options. Since the equalizer it got worse. A lot of intricate moves just not quite coming off, but the options for the CB's aren't quite there.

Our press is breaking down with Richarlison, they almost went 2-1 up and it started from him and Son both not getting it right with Matip.

We've been poor. Our pressing is individual and not collective. Our midfield is doing little outside of Maddison's assist. Bissouma doesn't look like he can cover ground, and that was before the tackle on him.

Some nice moments of play, but they've been much better.
We must be watching in parallel universes! I thought we've played really well. A few sloppy moments, but to be expected. But overall that was a good performance against the 2 nd best side in the league for me

Adding goal scored by injured player when playing against 10 men to the ever growing list of Liverpool sucker punches.

This has been our worst performance of the season by a long way. Its just not clicking, we seem completely devoid of ideas in attack and open at the back. Obviously Liverpool are a good team but hopefully it comes together in the 2nd half because will be a tough pill to swallow if we draw or lose against 10 men.

Our attacking players are not defending much from the front towards the end. Never stops guys come on..

To be honest I don’t think we’ve played that well. The passing isn’t as crisp as it has been and been some poor decision making. That late goal for them is ominous given how pathetic our recent record against them is. I expect Nunez to come on for them and causes all sorts of problems running in behind us. We really need to up our tempo and intensity and make the extra man count.

We need to be more ruthless here and not lift off.
Controversial but I think it’s because the quality of our front 3 is no where near theirs.

They look so threatening whereas ours look disjointed.

Kulu and Richy need to do far more for me, weakest area of our side.

We are missing Johnson.

We've been flat today, hopefully we come out a different team in the 2nd half. Tighten up and start to look a bit sharper on the ball

One team who can still be dangerous with 10 is Liverpool. Newcastle found that out. Need to make this count.

Thought we got very fortunate with the disallowed goal, looked on to me.

The Udogie decision was very frustrating given that it eventually lead to the equaliser.

The way I saw that. We scored and thought “this is going to be easy” and we stopped doing what we were doing well which was press hard and create passing triangles around their midfield.

Ange will get them back to the basics and not take a 10 man Liverpool for granted, they are extremely dangerous on the counter.

Even with 10 men, Liverpool's forwards just offer so much threat. Unfortunately slack defensive play at a set piece (was it even a free kick in the first place) has cost us. One thing with Liverpool is they have a number of players who have the pace and ability to come out on top of one on one duels that they'll always be a threat even with 10 men. Lucky in the in the end not to be going in 2-1 down.

Just need to play our game and be switched on 100% of the time. Get that second and push on

I really want to see the Var for their goal because it looked crazy tight. Im assuming it was his shoulder that was off but i really thought it was on. Truth is we could be loosing this 2-1 currently. It’s not good enough for me and I’m hoping to see a lot more from us second half because Liverpool will feel they can do it.

They could have had 5, so many balls across the box that would have been open goals if they had a player on the end of them.
