i have no doubt that if jon rowe was in the belgian league he'd be a much bigger nameFrom the data and the bits I’ve seen he is more of an attacking mid/inside forward than a winger. Doesn’t create much but is a goal threat. Another player who isn’t really a dribbler though as you’ll see from the data. A good young player but not sure he’s the best fit.
Jon Rowe Scouting Report for Last 365 Days Men's Next 14 Competitions | FBref.com
Compare Jon Rowe to others in passing, goal scoring, attacking, defense and more for the Last 365 Days Men's Next 14 Competitionsfbref.com
I would much rather go for Antonio Nusa if we’re going for a young attacker. Has more of the skills we lack and a higher ceiling imo.
Same.I would love us to do this

Maybe Rowe is more two footed than you think. 5 of his 11 goals were scored with his right foot, but 4 were with his left and the other 2 with his head.Yeah I’ve seen the starts and stats break down on Transfer Market. Seeing as he’s played a great deal on the left wing, supposedly his natural position according to scout reports, and is right footed, even tho he’s also very strong on his left, I don’t see us bringing in him and Nusa in even if Rowe has played marginally more on the right this season. In general I don’t see us adding more then 1 young winger even if Gil goes. The advantage of bringing in Rowe is that he’s comfortable ether wing but we aren’t going to signing two young right footers who naturally play on the left.
what's the data between the two of their ball carrying?? or is it just positional data you're looking atThat may be the case but from what I’ve seen (and the data backs this up) he is still not the kind of wide player we are really missing (a 2 way dribbling specialist).
Rowe seems to do a lot of his best work in central areas which would be minimised if he played in our system unless we were buying him as a CM.
Strongly disagree. First, because we should sign youngsters like this whatever position they play - he isn’t being looked at to go straight into the first team. But even if we were, Lolo, Madders, Sarr, Biss, GLC, Hojbjerg, Skipp plus Kulu as an option at 10 is very strong. People loan about PEH and I agree he doesn’t fit our style, but as our 3rd best 6 and arguably 4th choice 8 he really isn’t a problem. We don’t have anywhere near that depth in the forward positions.Do we need another wide player? I really think we need a CM before thinking about another wide player.

Not sure how much you can actually determine from this comparison considering they play in different leagues at different levels. For all we know Rowe would have similar looking data if he played in the same league as Nusa. Here you go mate, two screenshots of their possession data. The ones with loads of 99th percentile stats are Nusa, the one with weaker data is Rowe. This is with them both profiled as wingers/AMs. If you profile Rowe as a midfielder his stats improve as he’s up against cms and cams etc.
Unless Ange wants him and isn't convinced by Johnson.Think we can do better tbh.
We've already got Johnson who's our 'project' winger.
Would rather go for someone who can challenge for a starting spot straight away.
I’m not saying I don’t like Rowe. That wasn’t really my point. My point was that I can’t see us bringing both Nusa and Rowe and for me personally I think Nusa is a really special talent.Maybe Rowe is more two footed than you think. 5 of his 11 goals were scored with his right foot, but 4 were with his left and the other 2 with his head.
He is also massively outperforming his xG (11 goals from an xG of 4.29), so it Is possible we see him as a long term Son replacement.
Worth keeping in mind Rowe (20) is also two years older than Nusa (18). Not only that Nusa already has 4 caps and 1 goal for Norway. Imo Nusa is a very special talent. Not sure how much you can actually determine from this comparison considering they play in different leagues at different levels. For all we know Rowe would have similar looking data if he played in the same league as Nusa.
