I think the main thing is that Freiburg went out leaving Germany with 3 of which Dortmund won’t go any farther. We have 5 who may win all the comps plus some points from the others.I think Delaney jumped the gun a bit when he posted this. If Villa had got knocked out by Ajax it would have still been in the balance. But the Villa result alongside West Ham beating Freiburg is huge. It would be a shock from here if at least 2 of City, Liverpool and Villa didn’t reach the final of their respective competitions.
I don't think that can have been updated as the number of teams left for each country is wrong.The UEFA website which was updated this morning shows different totals;

Don't think it has actually been updated. The total number of teams still involved is wrong for example. Says Germany has 4/7 when they only have 3/7The UEFA website which was updated this morning shows different totals;

Yep. This co-efficient stuff is all nice but definitely enjoy Arsenal and West Ham losing more.Bayern v Arsenal in CL
West Ham v Leverkeusen in Europa
In an ideal world we’d want both German teams to smash them. Do we still want that (if we have to rely on 5th).
I don’t think there would be a much better feeling outside of a Spurs match than seeing Kane score a late winner to knock them out. And if by chance Arsenal did go through then that benefits us anyway so kind of a no lose situation for us.Yep. If both get smashed (Germans winning both legs), then Germany is on 17.786 vs England on 16.25. Germany would have another 3.429 points left to play for vs 4.375 for England. So it would be in Germany's hands, and probably close to a 50/50 chance (Germany in a better mathematical position, but City/Liverpool/Villa being more likely to win their respective tournaments than Munich/Dortmund/Leverkusen). So really is entirely subjective.Bayern v Arsenal in CL

It’s the usual English exceptionalism that the British press is chocked full of.Not really sure why media have gone in really early in saying "its almost a certainty for England to have it ". In that case.
