Gil should go back to La Liga, he should never have left.
Surely we can get more for him than that?! How much more timber do we need?Part exchange for Timber would be nice
How many players actually fit your description above other than Ndombele who is a complete outlier when it comes to lack of professionalism? He’s gonna be another player we’ve spent big money on that no one wants on a permanent deal, so we’ll have to loan him out until his contract expires. Truly an absolutely atrocious signing for the money and assets (Lamela) outlaid.
Bad move, he'll just end up as deadwoodSurely we can get more for him than that?! How much more timber do we need?

What an awful one this turned out to be.
20m plus Lamela! Fuck me.
I like Gil, he clearly has talent, but it’s not gonna happen. Lamela was good for us too, we’ve missed him
The fact he doesn’t make a single match day squad now, then next season he’ll be fighting for against solomun too, plus we want another winger. Zero chance gil staysLamela was broken all of the time and couldn't stay in the PL - I say that as someone who really rates him.
What has happened that makes people think he is finished at spurs?
Let’s say we do what is being suggested by ITK and we sign Werner plus another top winger (probably a LW).. In that case he’s going to be behind Werner, Solomon and a new signing for LW off the bat. Then you’ve got the fact that if Richy is fit no sane manager would play Gil over Son at LW either. Same goes for him vs Johnson if Kulusevski is fit, Johnson would start at LW over him 100%. His chances of playing next season if all goes to plan in improving the squad are very limited. Would 100% be best for all parties if we can move him on permanently. He just isn’t up to our level in the PL and I personally doubt he ever will be.Lamela was broken all of the time and couldn't stay in the PL - I say that as someone who really rates him.
