Talent isn't in question, but attitude is. Purpose of farming him out to Holland was to isolate him, remove distractions and the attention he would get in any English league. Bring him back now and all the progress made so far would be lost. He needs to at least see out the season, even then...
I have a feeling that Toby / Martial swap isn't over as the press and others say. Both teams strengthen where they are weak without a huge loss ~ people will argue we are far weaker without Toby and I agree, but is there a way back now? He's gone in afraid. It's all about the best possible...
I think claiming KWP was not ready was a deflection tactic, and no player is really ready until they prove they are. I'd argue Sissoko wasn't/isn't ready!
Bit if a pipe dream, but, if we could swap Rose for Martial and bring in Sessegnon, overall I think we would be stronger.
I think a few on that list could have a break through session this year (10 plus games). Onomah, Pritchard and Winks the most likely If they all stay, with 2CV, Edwards and KWP getting a bit of bench time and the odd cup game.
Really excited about our youth coming through. Hope we can bring...
Since Enic took over there have only been 3 out of season appointments - Santini, Ramos and AVB. That doesn't fill me with much hope. I bloody hope the reason we appointed Sherwood was to give us time to do some serious manager vetting.
I think this appointment is more about accepting the...
In the context of the discussion, Feund has been there five minutes. The point he was trying to make is the 3 of them have been with spurs a long time, giving over 30 years service etc. Doesn't mean he couldn't have made a separate comment.
Whilst I'm not biased against TS, I'm not all that...
Who gives a shit about what happened, quite frankly its in the past and no amount of going over it will help ease the 'paranoid brigade' who seem to hang on every word written in print as gospel. They're all big boys, and I'm certain had AVB won over a large proportion of the team he'd still be...
I don't think Sherwood wants Ericksen on the left, just limited options. I feel he may drop Paulino, move Ericksen inside and bring Townsend in on the left / right.
I like Tim, but being honest is easy when you're winning. Thing I like most is he is different to the "motivator" / "tactition" seesaw we've been on, Tim seems to be nicely balanced.
Not a lot you can say really. To be fair press conferences are easy when winning so handsomely, and long may it continue.
I'm so optimistic at the moment I actually fancy us to upset the odds against city this week. The football we're playing is certainly better than the dulllights served up...
This may be the most overused term on this site but "we are not Man Shity or Chelski!" Only City can be looked upon as having no weak links IMO, the rest of the league have loads - even Arseholes.
On the LB situation we had Rose winning plaudits at Sunderland, Verts who did a tidy job there...
Holtby and Capoue only played the first half, so probably a confidence builder for them both. I wouldn't read too much into it, but at the same time I expect us to sell at least one Center Mid this window, especially after Nabil's debt.
