    Manager Watch: Ange Postecoglou

Because a came and had some good 10 min cameos, so everyone forgot the shite and elevated him to prime Wanyama........and then he started. 🤣

    Conor Gallagher

This, I've never got the dislike for him, he's a top level presser, a consistent performer, with good game awareness, everything we're lacking in midfield

Got to back him to get rid of more than the fringe players. Kulu, Bents and Bissouma may all be up for sale

    Manager Watch: Ange Postecoglou

The midfield is so dysfunctional, the amount of combinations he's had to use and the on game reconfigurations just makes everything else shit. It needs a huge overhaul, there's not one of them I wouldn't sell

    Match Threads Chelsea vs Spurs

We haven't a midfield that can control a game consistently since Dembele Wanyama days. Until that gets sorted we're going to keep having these performances

He has improved players and so that's always a big tick box for me.

    Santiago Giménez

I asked my Celtic season ticket holder colleague (I can feel the eyes rolling as I type lol) about how Ange used Furuhashi. He said he had a real skill at being just offside, pulling the defence back and then returning onside just at the right moment. Virtually all his goals were from inside the...

Player Watch Player Watch: Timo Werner

How do you get that from that statement? I think Sess will be done with us, I feel so sorry for the lad but I don't think there's anything he could between now and the transfer window to get a chance.

    Conor Gallagher

Looks like he's going to be a fan favourite right from the off. God speed Conor

    Santiago Giménez

That team dominated and created a huge amount of chances, he's nowhere near those numbers under Rodgers, which shows he was an Ange type forward

    Santiago Giménez

I haven't seen anything of him but if you see how Ange used Furuhashi it wasn't dropping into pockets or holding the ball up. He sat on the shoulder of the centre back and forced them as deep as possible to create spaces in behind for all the other attackers to exploit. He wasn't a goal machine...

    The Summer 2024 scouting thread

Did they actually get to see anything from 1/2 mile away, sitting on an upturned crate, through all the bubbles? How do we compete with that match day experience?
