That's what I was thinking. We're paying over £30m a season for our stadium and they're paying £2m. Covid won't impact other stadium events for them because they don't have any. Where is their TV money going? Are their wages really that high?
If the squads got the trots and are showing no other Issues I can understand why they might not think it was Covid as it's not a widely reported symptom. That could be a genuine mistake. If the players have a fever or cough and they've ignored it that's something else entirely.
That would only be part of the problem though. They'd need to deep clean the stadium, they probably need to test non-playing/admin staff who've been around the players. There's a lot to do in a short space of time.
Absolutely gutted about this. First and foremost lets hope that all the players are ok and recover quickly. It's such a shame for the Justin Edinburgh foundation that this has been cancelled. As others have mentioned it would be nice to do something for them later in the season or prior to...
I didn't realize it had changed. It was reported as being a short term deal initially and the podcasts I listen to all said it was only until the end of the year.
But Morgan's only here for a few months (unless things change). I can't see a multi year deal being signed on the basis of a three month loan. And if there is a deal in place wouldn't they want it announced asap so they can get publicity from the new signings?
