The transfer windows used to be one the best things about supporting spurs, back when we did exciting deals like ginola, klinsmann, edgar davids (to an extent), berbatov, bale etc
now its the opposite. the last 10 windows have been nothing but depressing, almost always weakening our squad then...
you know the really sad thing about that guy? we had a disagreement, much similar to this one. so the sad old fucker made a whole new anonymous account, purely to negatively rate nearly all my posts. you can tell his life is so full of excitement
obviously there is hardly any chance of him coming but the one thing on our side is that he joined athletico last year even though all the top sides were after him then.
athletico arent that much bigger than us in world football, if at all.
on the contrary, he looks pretty built for a 17 year old. he can head aswell and has more of an all round game than defoe. if comparing to anyone id say eto'o although thats very optimistic! if he's half as good we have a winner
that he scored a shitload of goals in the nextgen and looked like a beast in all of the games i watched, whereas in my opinion, kane looks like a bit of a donkey in comparison
i understand this, but the point im making is that if the guy said we are signing a german player, it is obviously not going to be sahin as in football terms, he's turkish.
and klose and podolski are both polish, but are known as german footballers. the same applies with sahin
well, he's played football throughout his life for turkey, in football terms (which is the subject we are in) he's turkish.
if we were to sign podolski would you say we are signing a polish player? no.
when we signed kevin prince boateng would you say we had signed a german? i highly doubt...
